  1. What a soft arsed millenial whinge bag. He's nobody to blame but his dad for putting him in that situation and his own weak mentality that wasn't cut out for the mental pressures of playing for a professional football club.
  2. Great team spirit this season with some big personalities in the squad so need to be careful that any players coming in in Jan don't upset that
  3. Sigurdsson has been a weird one. Has clear ability but there's never been a single period where he's looked fit and when he does play he just looks out of position wherever he plays🙈 I'm sure he'd do very well at a slower paced European club though, i think we should at least try and get a bit of money for him in January
  4. Jesus it's like mowbrays reign all over again but without the attacking players that he had at his disposal
  5. Highly unlikely they would. But they would at least need to manifest a new outlandish excuse not to
  6. Any other era and Ohashi & Gueye upfront with Cantwell playing in a free role behind them we'd be lethal in attack (in this league anyway)
  7. Have we ever started with ohashi and Gueye upfront? On paper they'd make the perfect little and large combo. But nooooo football teams all have to play pretty much the same 1 upfront shite sytem now.
  8. 13 games in and the manager has already run out of ideas (though that seemed to happen 6 games ago) The likes of Travis, Hyam, dolan, pears and jrc have all reverted back to their normal championship bottom feeder standards.
  9. Are we again going to be hoping to hold our own in the league just long enough until we can strengthen our weak areas in January so that we can push on and put a serious playoff spot challenge in. (something we've failed miserably to do in recent winter transfer windows)
  10. Manager took a gamble by not making wholesale changes today and so far it's not paid off at all. Ridiculous how much we are missing Beck already!! Pickering just isn't championship standard, never has been. And Travis has reverted back to the usual travis
  11. Sounds like it's been a shit show. But we were always going to lose one at some point and a forgettable Tuesday night game in Coventry is better than a losing a home game. Sorry for the travelling fans though If one good thing comes out of it hopefully it will give The manager an excuse to give Toth a shot in goal now
  12. Waggot starting to see Yuki more and more as a walking pound with every game that goes by. Be lucky to hang on to him in the winter window at this rate Defintely looking like the bargain of the decade!
  13. I'm more curious about where he's going to play exactly and which player is going to make way for him
  14. Bright lad. A footballer that can actually string sentances together in public and think for himself 😯
  15. Filan! I'd take Alan fettis back over Pears. Remember Sandomierski who came in on loan under Bowyer!? He was a good one, shame we never chased him up again but I think he was out of our salary range at the time
  16. Has O'riordan played for a the club he's on loan too yet? I'm hoping he does well there and returns to us at Christmas ready to fight for some first team game time
  17. Oh cheers. I was sure he did for some reason Ahh! I think I just got it confused with Bentley (who did initially come on loan)
  18. I thought the same, very similar. And didn't Warnock also come in on loan initially!?
  19. Wharton never really got to play enough games to really flourish for us though and last year we where basically a one man team for the most part with just Szmodics keeping us up Bowyer had an excellent starting 11 (or maybe 10!i can't remember who our main keeper was then) but I don't remember us having much strength in depth at that time
  20. I think the balance throughout the squad looks similar to bowyers team. There's been times when we've had better attacking players & goal scorers but been weak in other key areas of the pitch I think an awful lot will lay on whether Toth turns out to be a good strong reliable keeper or not
  21. A win tomorrow though really would be the biggest sign in over 10 years that we could seriously (and purposefully this time!) be fighting to get back into the promised land this season. A loss wouldn't be the end of the world though, just maybe a bit of a reality check! And a draw would obviously be a possitive On paper this is our best squad since we got relegated and in spite of our owners lack of interest and having a pair of bafoons at the head of the table.... the club seems to be running smoothly behind the scenes at the moment
  22. Surely the only reason for the hold up in finalising the Cantwell deal is that he's holding off just in case another club comes in or the venkys are dickin about humming and arrring amongst each other (or both)
