  1. 😂 😂 😂 Fair doos, but from what I can see at least their ads dont pop up and cover the comment box whilst your typing! Which is the main annoyance for me here sorry. I usually end typing half my comments blind (hence all the typos etc...😅) And the tab to close the ad is too tiny for me to press on my mobile screen without accidentally clicking the feckin ad 🤣🤣🤣
  2. Can't remember the last time our stats looked like that and with a win to go with it! Congratulations to the young lads and hopefully and Dack😅 (really hope he gets a proper chance back in the starting 11 for league games.
  3. As things stand this is up there with the most inadequate transfer windows of the Venky era! And that takes some doing to get up there! Made even more depressing because of the huge optimism that was there at the start of the window with JDTs arrival and rumours (that still exist) of there being a relatively substantial transfer kitty available. Don't get me wrong I think brittain & sczmodics are good additions to the squad, but they don't even paper over the cracks in our fragile waifer thin team
  4. If we currently have a 10 million transfer budget and could get an additional 15 million more for BBD... I'd rather half of the total go on transfer fees and half raising the salary cap (I'd even just keep the transfer budget at 10 mill and use all the money from bbd to increase the salary budget) I go quality over quantity everytime!
  5. He needs to be playing somewhere week in week out but i don't think he's good enough for that here yet.
  6. Personally don't think Carter looks u0 to championship standard, i think he needs a year or 2 playing consistently in div1. Philips has huge potential but doesn't seem physically or mentally ready for playing weekly, but should be kept at the club to keep learning and making the odd cameo apearance Ayala and wharton are the only 2 solid cb options we have at the club and both have patchy injury records
  7. i think at least one solid defender has to be the priority first or we will carry on shipping goals for fun, definitely need another centre forward if we want to push on after that though. that said, even clear cut chances are few and far between so more creativity is also needed just as much as a cf. lets be honest we really need to strengthen every area of the pitch if we seriously want to step up to the next level! we even need a better stand in for Kaminski imo.
  8. stating the obvious and it's probably been repeated a 1000 times on here now, But we need two new centre backs ...one being a quality permanent addition that can go straight into the starting 11 and another on a loan or short term deal as back up (ideally somebody with plenty of championship experience)
  9. It read to me like he was just asking you to think and use your imagination for a giggle at the thought of those old school man managers using these modern football systems. It's called a humour! Abstract thinking clearly isnt something that you're capable of though. And flippin eck are you really also not capable of double checking your posts for errors occasionally! Especially if you're going to be mocking people and replying to them in a patronising way
  10. Tired of hearing about van heck now to be honest! Surely to god there's other good defenders in the uk or Europe available for the prices that we're rumoured to have been prepared to pay for Van heck, Davies and Anel!!!
  11. Who exactly set and so strongly enforces this salary cap though? Waggot, Sunhail or the venkys themselves? Has anybody at the club challenged the powers that be over the level of this cap? All stinks of waggot to me, penny pinching weasel should be managing a lidl somwhere not a great (close to)150 year old professional football club in one of the worlds top leagues
  12. Luckily we're still in a healthy league position and a few of the other clubs that a lot had down as certain play off or auo promotion contenders are also stuttering.
  13. If we're still hanging around waiting for answers from the clubs of van heck and van berg by end off the day on Tuesday then we need to forget about them and move on, surely to fck there are other decent defenders available out there!! Dack- feel sorry for the lad and that he's clearly not in JDTS plans, but no point in keeping him around to warm the bench and sulk if moving him frees up more room inthe salary dept for new players that are more up the manager ls street. Can't see anyone buying him untill he's proved his fitness but I'm sure there'd be plenty interest in clubs wanting to loan him and take on his salary BBD- clubs need to put up around £15mill(plus clauses for more 💰 in the future) or just shut up. If the owners are holding out for 20mill+ up front they're going to end up with nothing again in 12 months other than more fan unrest seeing a star player leave for zilch.
  14. ? Who's "anyone" and what is the "that" you're referring to?
  15. Kind of good honest hard working young player united need to be signing though! Instead of all the grossly overpaid wankers thar have turnef the club toxic in recent years
  16. Maybe it's more about having different options for when things aren't working. Would be a bit daft to have 3 or 4 virtually identical types of striker in the team (unless they where all Alan Shearer or something 😅)
  17. Honestly not expecting a result today, but I really am hoping for a good response and fighting display after the midweek fanny show. A fighting draw would be very good though
  18. Grella was real quality, just turned out to be a total injury crock Fowler was only on a free short term contract i think, so why not🤷‍♂️ Andrews wasn't my cup of tea but a lot of people rated him, just not prem standard though Either way I did say his time with us was terrible!
  19. Aside from everything.... I just want to say fair play and well done to Paul Ince, he outsmarted us and it looks like reading are going to have decent season if last night was anything to go by. I was actually a bit gutted it turned out to be a pretty poor appointment when he signed for us, put a lot of that down to him not being experienced enough, joining at a time when we where lodong our best players and weren't getting any real money to replace them and I also think the backroom staff he brought in(archie bloody knox!) where a real backwards step after the brilliant coaching team Hughes had. He's a player i liked a lot and i think he doesn't get the credit he deserves, people talk about Kean, Cantona, giggs... A lot from the early/mid 90s united team but Ince was just as good at the time. Also always did well in the England shirt
  20. If anything last night should have put a rocket up the jacksey of Broughton and our recruitment team to get something done fast. Not just to strengthen the team but also to pick morale back up a bit after a very poor performance and result.
  21. Fair doos Still a player that I'd prefer to have in the squad though for the time being at least
  22. Tbf dolan has been excellent when he's come on later in the game to ruffle a few feathers! Definitely not one I'd even be considering letting go anywhere
