As frustrating as it is we did have 3 of our best defenders out and aside from Hyam the rest of that backline is woeful and was bound to concede goals Playing 2 relatively inexperienced young boys in the centre was a poor decision though imo. Would be great if we could find an older expericed centre mid on a free transfer, Drinkwater could be ideal in theory depending on his wage demands but worth getting him in for a trial at least maybe

Sorry but checking in here and initially seeing strong rumours of Dembele but then moments later seeing weve just signed another young loan player with very little first team experience has left me feeling fairly meh!! I think ive been very positive lately in general but if we end this window with mainly just another batch of loan players it strongly suggests to me that very little has changed on the player requirement side of the club. Why so much interest in Callum Styles on here? I'll admit I've never seen him play but his career stats aren't particularly impressive and do we really want/need another 5'6 player? (unless he's absolutely class!) I just think we're missing someone more physically dominant in midfield... A real bastard of a player! Even if bbd stays I think last year was more of a purple patch/season for him, I think he's really more of a 15ish goal per season type

Never his fault. Transfer wise... Did a good job of bringing in some quality loan players from the prem (how much of that is down to him though i don't know) Overall pretty lame at signing and attracting established players and liked to pay over the odds for young players with potential that he may or may not play for 3 years before they may or may not come good(if theyvdo it's usually when they're in the final year of their contracts funnily) Honestly you could easily have hired so much better! Sorry.
