Who exactly set and so strongly enforces this salary cap though? Waggot, Sunhail or the venkys themselves? Has anybody at the club challenged the powers that be over the level of this cap? All stinks of waggot to me, penny pinching weasel should be managing a lidl somwhere not a great (close to)150 year old professional football club in one of the worlds top leagues

If we're still hanging around waiting for answers from the clubs of van heck and van berg by end off the day on Tuesday then we need to forget about them and move on, surely to fck there are other decent defenders available out there!! Dack- feel sorry for the lad and that he's clearly not in JDTS plans, but no point in keeping him around to warm the bench and sulk if moving him frees up more room inthe salary dept for new players that are more up the manager ls street. Can't see anyone buying him untill he's proved his fitness but I'm sure there'd be plenty interest in clubs wanting to loan him and take on his salary BBD- clubs need to put up around £15mill(plus clauses for more 💰 in the future) or just shut up. If the owners are holding out for 20mill+ up front they're going to end up with nothing again in 12 months other than more fan unrest seeing a star player leave for zilch.

Maybe it's more about having different options for when things aren't working. Would be a bit daft to have 3 or 4 virtually identical types of striker in the team (unless they where all Alan Shearer or something 😅) -

Honestly not expecting a result today, but I really am hoping for a good response and fighting display after the midweek fanny show. A fighting draw would be very good though -

Grella was real quality, just turned out to be a total injury crock Fowler was only on a free short term contract i think, so why not🤷♂️ Andrews wasn't my cup of tea but a lot of people rated him, just not prem standard though Either way I did say his time with us was terrible! -

Aside from everything.... I just want to say fair play and well done to Paul Ince, he outsmarted us and it looks like reading are going to have decent season if last night was anything to go by. I was actually a bit gutted it turned out to be a pretty poor appointment when he signed for us, put a lot of that down to him not being experienced enough, joining at a time when we where lodong our best players and weren't getting any real money to replace them and I also think the backroom staff he brought in(archie bloody knox!) where a real backwards step after the brilliant coaching team Hughes had. He's a player i liked a lot and i think he doesn't get the credit he deserves, people talk about Kean, Cantona, giggs... A lot from the early/mid 90s united team but Ince was just as good at the time. Also always did well in the England shirt -

Fair doos Still a player that I'd prefer to have in the squad though for the time being at least -

Tbf dolan has been excellent when he's come on later in the game to ruffle a few feathers! Definitely not one I'd even be considering letting go anywhere -

Our weak links in the team got well and truly found out tonight by an oppo manager that had really done his homework. Still the squads currently threadbare and it is just one bad result out of 5! So the mental breakdown some are having on hear really is a bit embarrassing to see. Personally think the manager got the team selection wrong tonight, particularly in tge attacking line. Think I'd have gone 433 tonight with morton, travis and buckley in midfielde, brereton cf with dack and szmodics on his shoulders. 🤷♂️ Easy for me to say things like that in hindsight though. Need new signings last week and the bbd transfer saga needs resolving one way or another very fast. -

Hate knocking a young lad, but I've not seen anything particularly good from Vale. Personally I'd have Dack up there, might not be his ideal position but at least you know if you get him on the ball he has quality -

that'll be waggot cheaping out and buying the dodgy remanufactured ink cartridges of ebay -
I think us getting such a good deal for Armstrong then him going on to sadly be a dud in the prem is probably going against us in terms of what prem clubs are now prepared to offer for him. Football wise going back to Forest would be the 2nd best move for BBD if they wanted him, i think he'd really suit the way they play and blend in well with their current squad, not sure whether the sell on clause would work in their favour or not in negotiations!

I've just watched the first episode so far, I didn't even know they had a woodstock99! Looked absolutely dreadful right from the start! Depressing venue (a large ex military compound) Awful headline bands (American music was terrible at that point) Crowd mainly just of spoilt white "frat boys & girls" Antisocial drugs (gone was the natural mild weed and mushrooms of the 60s, replaced by chemically produced pills and powders) Completely over commercialised and expensive 40° heat and no free water... Not the best recipe!!

Pathetic. The only place "marginal gains" should be addressed is on the pitch! Away fans should be treat and welcomed like guests by the club, it's just basic sportsmanship and professionalism. Also from a business point of view you'd want away fans to leave spreading the word that ewood is a good place to travel to as an away fan, to encourage more and more to come in the future as PAYING football supporters
