  1. Back on track, we really need Wharton and Ayala to stay fit, easily two of the best cb in the league, proper rocks. (hyam is sound as a pound as well)
  2. Players I wish we could forget..... Bradley Orr, Danny Murphy, david goodwillie, Anthony Stokes, Shane Duffy... Just from recent memory! Oh and one real cracker of a "Forgotten player" from not really that long ago! that I don't think has been mentioned yet! Grzegorz Sandomierski
  3. Now you have to really ask why certain players never signed new contracts and set their eyes on moves elsewhere instead. Guessing uncle Tony convinced them the grass will be greener elsewhere
  4. Just more proof of what a dead brain cretinous moron mowbray is, honestly JDT could go on to be an absolute failure for us(fingers & toes crossed he doesn't thoughπŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…) but it still wouldn't change how happy I am that tony fkin Mowbray and his stooges are no longer here. Sad thing is there's a large herd of sheep that go to ewood and there's no doubt they WILL still give him a good welcome when he returns. (and he'll be laughing at them all thecwayvback to Sunderland)
  5. I thought this topic was going to be for irony purposes Anything in the aldi or lidl Β£5-8 range will hit the spot
  6. Give it a few weeks and the media will be ripping Charles to shreds. I think "The Media" just want William on the throne
  7. With some of the things being said on the news it is sounding like we could sadly soon be losing the biggest British celebrity of them all
  8. I didnt realise Wigan had such strong Rovers connections on the sidlines(Richardson, Beattie and Rob Kelly) wonder if that had anything to do with them being the ones to finally offer Nyambe a lifeline
  9. Paul Warhurst πŸ™Œ what a classy player, shame that we were never able to get a good run of games from him because of all the injuries. He was another player from that time who could play in defence, midfield or attack and do a top job
  10. Just little adjorn! But what about players that where heavily linked to us or that we bid for but it never happened? (think we can rule out a few obvious infamous names zidane, lewandowski, Roy keane because theyve been talked about to death over the years) One that always sticks in my head for some reason was a young polish striker called Marek Citko that we had a bid of around 5mill accepted for when he was at Widzew lodz! I think it was around 96 and he was seen as a potential replacement for shearer, Citko had just broke into the national team and scored a couple of goals(one against England) but he just flat out turned us down to carry on playing in Poland and his career looks to have been pretty lame there after...
  11. Good shout for Gudmundsson! He arrived with a lot of hype around his potential
  12. Or else what you gunna do about it πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ Bit pedantic maybe... But I think the word project needs to be replaced with the word strategy really. Calling it a project, plan, ... journeyπŸ™„ you're just setting yourselves up to fail if all doesn't go exactly to plan. But if you have a strategy and just work hard and do your best every week best that's all us fans want to see! And if at some stage were rewarded for it in some way then great, but if not then so be it as long as they gave their whole
  13. Codswallop. Because I'm right and you're wrong.
  14. Most of our assets apart from 2 of our most valuable..... Tbf.
  15. In reality how fans react to them in the stands during the game will simply be down to how the team are playing on that particular day and how we've been playing in the couple of games leading up to it
  16. Grrrrrrrrr πŸˆπŸˆβ€β¬›
  17. What a dumb comparison! It was a big local derby ffs When we play Burnley it will be the same Although if the "authorities" do as they did the last few occasions the dingles came to town and leave a ridiculously massive amount of seats empty to seperate the supporters and make it a real ballache for travelling fans to get to the game unless they use the authorised transport we wont get near full capacity
  18. Awww how lovely πŸ₯° maybe you can confince him to find a job for Waggot up there as well
  19. You seem to be under the false illusion that the powers that be in football haven't already been made fully aware of the shady shenanigans that have gone on at the club! Especially in the early sem years anyway. They did nothing about it then (because they know they'd come out of it with just as much egg on their faces) so I cant even see them entertaining it now 10+ years on.
  20. He's equally shite partner in crime Mark Venus has joined him today as his assistant as usual. If Sunderland weren't such a crappy club I might have more sympathy for them.
  21. Have to say that I've still seen nothing at all from Vale to even deserve a place on the bench 😞
  22. As frustrating as it is we did have 3 of our best defenders out and aside from Hyam the rest of that backline is woeful and was bound to concede goals Playing 2 relatively inexperienced young boys in the centre was a poor decision though imo. Would be great if we could find an older expericed centre mid on a free transfer, Drinkwater could be ideal in theory depending on his wage demands but worth getting him in for a trial at least maybe
