  1. I think Kaminski is a very good championship keeper but at a higher level I think he'd get found out quickly and he'd be punished for some of his more erratic decisions very regularly by better quality opposition I love what he's doing for Us now though!
  2. Really all I'd like though is for the idiots that control the pa to turn the volume down by at least 25% instead of completely drawing out any natural atmosphere in the ground.
  3. If we we're to go with cheesy cliched on the nose tunes then it simply has to be The Boys are back in Town.
  4. I'm going to say Iggy pops Lust for life (even though i can gurentee it will be some lame cheesy old pop turd of a song by some 70s crooner that's that once counted jimmy savile and gary glitter as pals)
  5. The entire post is a literary wet lettuce. But the line in bold should Definitely be a fkin banning offence. Just something original and not the usual clichéd thicko sheeple shite.... And as much as i massively l9ve oasis their music should only be played by city. Im not a metal or hard rock fan in general but I'd rather have a bit of that bangin away than some lame old pop tune. Maybe something b6 the Foos would be a compromise
  6. There's been very few names mention at all from before the early 90s
  7. Just seen that Dacks silly other half is on on this yrars I'm a celeb and has just arrived in oz to start filming. Thats one pathetic distraction we don't want any of our players to be having, let alone one of our highest earners. Im now guessing it's this k8nd of a freakshow circus that surounds his personal life that doesn't sit well with the club Sack the little jumped up 'celebrity' diffy off I say.
  8. Have to say I felt very let down By Kenny Dalglish for leaving so abruptly. And why Jack walker felt he didn't need to hire a top new manager and carry on investing in new players was a very naive set of decisions that backfired drastically
  9. Jermain Jones. One of the incredibly few little bright spots of the sordid Kean era.
  10. In his final 6 - 12 months it really really was! It was literally just Robinson hoofing it every chance he got, it was ridiculous how predictable we'd become
  11. Reading a lot of the comments on here i feel that some wish our league position wasn't so good, so they can have a right good whinge and get on JDTs case, must just be frustrating for them to see us looking so strong in the league at this stage The football under Allardyce was absolute dog shite, we didn't even try to play football, but I bet those waiting to criticise Tomasson where the ones happy to watch fat sams garbage as long as it got just enough points to keep us up
  12. I was thinking more that European clubs would have an eye on him
  13. I think the jan transfer window is going to be our most important one for a long time! If we can strengthen a couple of areas and keep hold of BBD then there's no reason we can't be in with a deadly serious chance of promotion 😬😬😬
  14. I wouldn't say shocking! It was more surprising that they where 2 nill up in the first place, Tbf Burnley are a very good team with a seemingly very promising young manager, werr as Sunderland are mid table fodder with a shite manager.
  15. My worry is that if Tomasson carries on this way he will be poached before we know it. Not much we can do about that other than hopefully gain promotion before it happens
  16. JDT doesn't do draws. FACT. Haven't liked a manager of ours this much since Souness. (yes Hughes was brilliant for us, but I just mean personality wise!)
  17. I thought Vinny Jones was a pretty underrated player, his nasty ways stole the headlines but he could play a bit as well (similar to Robbie savage)
  18. My kind of defender. If you can't beat them break them.
  19. God! Just remembered one "forgotten player" that I don't think has even got a mention on here yet even though he's pretty much the epitome of the topic imo! Nicky Marker🙌 The most dependable , reliable no nonsense CB or DM you could have as back up on your bench. Always filled in brilliantly when the likes of Hendry, batty , etc.. were injured Marker also pretty much destroyed man u class of 92 graduate Ben Thorleys blossoming career with a nasty tackle that literally snapped Thornleys leg in half pretty much 😞 I think it was only a reserve gave as well good little interview https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2020/february/champions-nicky-marker/
  20. Just had a goog! He actually played 41 games for us at left back between 91-93!! guessing he was back up for alan wright then or something? Anyway I'm sure the slightly older members here will have remembered him
  21. Dobson!! I've never even heard the name before, must have been as a sun or something in the 92/93 season? Just before I really started following them
  22. Now that names are just getting repeated on this topic maybe a new similar topic for Unsung Heroes Could be the next topic There's been players over the decades that might have only played a handful of games(or even just one!) and saved our bacon in some way (think jon stead for an obvious example) then theres others like Flitcroft above that captained the side for years but kept a relatively low profile and rarely made headlines
  23. True dat about your opening comment😄 but to think Flitcroft was a "Forgotten player" isn't far off saying Dunn or MGP are forgotten players. Flitcroft did all the dirty work that allowed the likes of Tugay and Dunn to flourish. Id say more of an unsung hero than forgotten 🤔
