  1. Broughton has been very modest and generous with his comments in todays interview, he and the medical team clearly did everything that they needed to on their side of things then left the paper work to those responsible for that side of things... And that is where he has either been let down or been deliberately sabotaged. What the hell where Waggot and Sunhail doing going to the game when there where such important deals going on at the club that they should have being overseeing in person! They both need dispensing of immediately, Dont let them throw Broghton (or anyone else) under the bus, waggot and suhail are ultimately responsible for the administrative side of things and that is where thr transfers failed.
  2. Nothing. And EVERYONE wouldn't, those that would would not even be noticed.
  3. Organised protests don't work (sadly) they give the chancers behind the scenes too much time to come up with a narrative that works more in their favour. Protesting is only effective when it's spontaneous and most importantly unanimous! on matchdays.
  4. (if only for the distraction) We need to have a poll for the Top 10 biggest/stupidest mistakes of the Venky era!!
  5. Absolutely cowardly that nobody at the club even has the balls to give a brief explanation of the state of play! And whatever the outcome I 100% doubt there will be so much as a sorry for the confusion caused.
  6. Looking like heads need to roll... But i think it's a safe assumption the transfer failures will be down to the rubber stampers on the administrative side (pisha, waggot and venks) and it's safe to say those 3 trashy entities wont be going anywhere😀
  7. What are the odds... O'brian deal agreed but venkys/pasha/swaggot refused to sign off on the deal Or medical failed because he had a runny bum Thursday 3 weeks ago
  8. errr all very lovely. but we need a striker(and right now pretty much any striker with a bit of championship experience or experience at a decent level abroad and a few goals to his name would do!)
  9. dreary fkin me!!! as things stand this is looking like our worst window for a long time(and that is saying something) It's worst than last years January window where we failed to strengthen our squad to capitalise on our league position, we are in an even better position this year and a few clever signings would be enough to almost guarantee play offs
  10. I don't think he lacks ability and potential..... It's more that unlike our own 'home grown' players Morton doesn't get dropped when he is contiunely playing below his best
  11. If one of our own young players where as inconsistent and ineffectual as morton tommasson would have dropped them months ago.
  12. Dack really has been our saving grace the last month or so, great to see him back influencing games
  13. ffs. Sorry, but can we please not stick to transfer talk in here. having to sift through pages of general jibber jabber like this is really sucky.
  14. So am I missing something! so unless there's an 'option to buy' why do they want to LOAN him out then if he's so good? I know they've signed a few players but you'd think they'd still want to either cash in on him or keep him around for competition just looks like another Elliot bennet to me. Sorry to be sniffy but attacking wide players should be the least of our priorities right now
  15. I get the feeling Ronan Curtis is still the one being monitored (what is it 3 years in a row we've been linked to him now) his contracts up in the summer https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/blackburn-rovers-boss-watches-portsmouth-striker-bag-15th-goal-of-season-as-he-eyes-january-business-4000187
  16. Aggree, May as well delete the entire thread and try starting again since there's been no transfers! Or leave this thread for folk to carry on bickering in and start a new one strictly gor actual transfer news and links
  17. "Bollocks ago" πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ Genius. I've ever seen those two words together before and ive always got my eye out for a new swearsy. Cheers
  18. Just absolutely beyond mental to state something like that as fact. Unless you're just trying to convince yourself.
  19. You'd have expected them to get one very good deal over the line this window if only to show a statement of intent and prove their worth, they've had half a season to get at least one deal lined up and ready That said!! These aren't new problems, we had the same issue through the last few years of the Mowbray era
  20. Just looking like we might end up missing all our main targets and doing nothing but bringing in a few dregs around deadline day again. Which really would look very poor for the df considering....
  21. Pears is 3rd choice gk material anyway to me, he's not really giving kaminski any competion, where as the haiken fella looks like he could be as good if not betting than kaminski
  22. I thought he started the season excellently alongside Ayala! To me it seemed to be around the time he and his brother got overlooked for the Burnley game that something seemed to turn a little sour, maybe just my imagination but i got tge feeling there might have been disagreements around the training ground over that and thats effected things, but ability wise i think he's very good for a young cb
  23. I don't know where all the negativity towards scot wharton has come from recently! He's an absolutely quality cb and only going to get better with experience, his form may have dipped a bit, but he's young and the form of most the squad has been shite at times.
  24. Whether or not centre forward is his 'best' role has been irrelevant, he's the best player for that position in our current squad that for certain! And we have other decent players that can play in the wider positions
