  1. I'd be really gutted if we lost out on a play off spot due to our shite goal difference (which would obviously be better reading if we had a natural goalscorer in the squad)
  2. Pickering & Pears are looking like our biggest liabilities now (and in recent weeks)
  3. Yes exactly! That's how it turned out for him in the end!!! But his initial reasoning for not signing a new contract with us when it was still on the table was because he thought he could do better (and earn more) elsewhere. (and that situation should be used as an example for all young players when they start getting ideas put into their heads by their parasetic advisors)
  4. If we're in the championship again next year so much is going to rest on whether Raya does finally make a big move this summer, talk of him leaving for over £30mill. Even if he only went for 15mill that could still mean a good few mill coming our way, It would make all the difference and could finance a real quality deal like O'Brian on a permanent deal.. (as long as we don't try to sign Morton permanently😬😬😬)
  5. I was thinking/worrying that it could be more of a case of the Nyambes. Thinking the grass will be greener.... (and wages will be higher) elsewhere. That said! He could actually just be being clever... With each performance he puts in like yesterdays hiswage demands should increase!! So hopefully he's just going to wait until the summer and see where things lay
  6. Starting to get the feeling that he's a player thats going to be 'looking for a new chapter in his career'
  7. Fair play to the team for salvaging an away point at least. Some of our players though... Flippin eck!
  8. Can't see Tomasson being here at the start of next season, so it will be back to square one and the Venky Carousel of Mediocrity will keep turning around.
  9. Everytime we've had a crappy little run of results and the knives have started coming out for JDT and the players it has seemed to galvanise the team and quickly lead to a good run🤞🤞🤞 Our squad is thin (to put it lightly) and players are running out of steam and ideas at the minute, but we just need to have one more good push. We need someone like Dack to step up and rediscover the form he had a few months ago when we needed it badly and he dragged us through a rough period. And of course bloody lightweight bottler morton needs dropping again(for good this time) and replacing with JRC or A Wharton in the middle. BB also needs to jog on if he's now got one foot through the exit door.
  10. yeah yeah april fools .......flippin hilarious, really had me going for a moment then(not!)
  11. Kaminski is the better keeper and a level above Pears, but that said... Pears has exceeded expectations and shown himself to be reliable championship keeper... BUT THEN that said again there have been a few goals we've conceded that I'm certain Kaminski would have saved with his exceptional reflex saves..... BUT THEN THAT SAID!!!!.... Like any other player Kaminski needs to bide his time, prove his fitness and take his chance when it comes along (which I'm sure it will very soon)
  12. I think he was still only 29 and in great shape when we signed him, but we sadly only got a good 6 months out of him before his lazy big time charlie pal dwight showed up and things started turning a bit sour, Souness being a tit with them in training didn't help matters though. I bet Mark Hughes and has coaching team would have got him firing them in for fun again though had he stuck around a bit longer
  13. Seems like rovers are using this international window to do some housework. So hopefully carter and jrc will be negotiating new deals now 🤞
  14. Both of these players would be silly not to sign new contracts with us though, they've both proven to be reliable championship squad players in recent months but they're not exciting players and I cant really see any clubs offering to pay them more than we will be offering. Look what happened to Nyambe when he believed he was the shizzle and thought bigger clubs would be beating his door down to sign him.
  15. I agree it's not currently looking like a priority area, but Anel Ahmedhodžić at shef united is showing what a difference having a Premier league class defender and leader at the club can add to the team! I don't think they'd be doing anywhere near as well without him
  16. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23399904.lewis-obrien-secures-mls-loan-failed-blackburn-rovers-move/ Be curious to know if this option to buy deal is for the same amount that we we had in place! 10 million upfront did seems a bit ott considering he wasn't deemed good enough to play for forest in the prem, still love it if we went back in for him in the summer though!
  17. Personally I'd lose a lot of respect for jdt if he leaves this summer after all of his and GBs talk about us being on a long term journey with them at the helm.... Unless it was a big champions league club that wanted him that we couldn't even closely compete with salary wise. Hopefully he will be offered a big improved new deal her soon
  18. What scares me most is Yes this was just a cup quarter final and i dont fancy seeing us get pummelled by the likes of man city, united... at Wembley. BUT what if this was a playoff game with the clubs future and mega millions of pounds in tv money at stake and we went out that way due to poor naive tactical changes 🫣🫣🫣
  19. Before the game I might have agreed with you but It's losing the way that we did that is outrageous. Feel for players like szmodics, travis and a few others that played brilliantly
  20. Tbf they just stuck at it and scored a blinder! We're the ones that just handed it to them on a plate after the substitutions
  21. Well we fucked that. Worst substitutions and tactical changes I can ever remember us making.
