In 5 years Mowbray couldn't even get 25% out of JRC than what tommason has got out of him this past few months. Both jrc & carter would be getting released by the club this summer if Mowbray was still in charge -

I thought he was very poorly managed by Mowbray&co. and just seen as a walking £££ by the higher ups, so in this one instance I can understand if he has sour memories -

neither of those are proven reliable goalscorers in the championship -

I think 2 or 3 quality permanent signings would make all the differance. The problem ids that they need to be quality ready made experienced players in their prime and no 'ones for the future...' the high fee signings of BB and gallagher 5 years ago has proved that that is not the way to go if you want success!!!!(or in the case of those 2...even your money back when they leave) Hoping we will get a bit of a cash windfall this summer if Raya finally leaves for good money (although I wouldn't be surprised at all if he just saw the final year of his contract out and we end up with nothing there also) -

Great effort from the team today. absolute shitter to get done over by those boring deluded nobbers and tony fkin titbag (funny how well he can do when he's at a club that he gives half a shit about) Knew that poor GD would haunt us eventually and having only one centre forward in the squad(a completely unprolific one at that) -

I'm feeling we will miss out on a play off spot due to goal difference..... And that will tell you everything you need to know about what's severely been lack in our team this year (and could have been remedied in the jan transfer window if dof and his recruitment team new what they where doing) -

Funny because that's around the time i started caring less and less about football in general apart from rovers. "best" is very subjective Personally I loved seeing most teams going toe to toe with each other both playing 442(or there(abouts) and defenders and defensive midfielders allowed to really get stuck in and make actual tackles -
Although at first I really respected JDT for sticking with Pears initially as he excelled in his first bunch of games when Kamiski was injured, but I do think it was ANOTHER naive JDT mistake not to get Kamiski back in as first choice once Pears performances levelled out, he's been very average the past month or so and let in a few soft goals, solid back up keeper but not a number 1 if you want to get promoted.

I just don't understand Tommassons seeming stubbornness towards team selections anymore, He's turning into the living embodiment of '...doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results' -
The January transfer window has probably been our costliest(shambles) ever, especially taking into acount the reported hundreds of thousands they spent on solicitors to pathetically try(and fail) to sort their amature mistakes out. And not taking the reported millions offered for Brereton in the summer is also looking like a huuuuge mistake now that he's completely regressed 4 years. Not having a single senior centre forward in the squad apart from flippin gallagher🙄 is what's costing us dearly.

Happy to finally see Jrc get a crack in the middle (so to speak🤨) hopefully he makes tge most of the opportunity now, the position is no his to lose! Need a BIG performance from the captain tonight!! Not sure why Sorba isnt starting though and if Diaz doesn't perfom tonight he needs to be dropped end of.

I'd be really gutted if we lost out on a play off spot due to our shite goal difference (which would obviously be better reading if we had a natural goalscorer in the squad) -

Pickering & Pears are looking like our biggest liabilities now (and in recent weeks) -
JRC contract?
Armchair supporter supremo replied to Bohinen1983's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yes exactly! That's how it turned out for him in the end!!! But his initial reasoning for not signing a new contract with us when it was still on the table was because he thought he could do better (and earn more) elsewhere. (and that situation should be used as an example for all young players when they start getting ideas put into their heads by their parasetic advisors) -
Priorities for the summer
Armchair supporter supremo replied to wilsdenrover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
If we're in the championship again next year so much is going to rest on whether Raya does finally make a big move this summer, talk of him leaving for over £30mill. Even if he only went for 15mill that could still mean a good few mill coming our way, It would make all the difference and could finance a real quality deal like O'Brian on a permanent deal.. (as long as we don't try to sign Morton permanently😬😬😬)
