  2. I'm not grinning, you're grinning 🤭🤭 Mowbray is just kryptonite for club moral. Absolutely miserable excuse making defeatist chancer.
  3. And Brereton seems to have gone to 💩 already
  4. from the article... " has no pace, no skill, no finishing ability"! did they receive his evil twin by mistake or something haha I'd have him back in a heart beat!! he's just gone to a shit club and started earning a lot of money, confidence is zero. IMO.... he was/is not physically and psychologically good enough to do well in the prem, but he does have bags of ability though and one of the best finishers around when his confidence is high
  5. Pretty meh! Draw for us and we usually do better when we're the complete underdogs (with less pressure) so I'd have preferred a prem team Still! On paper it's a fairly even draw so could easily go either way
  6. I was exaggerating a little haha But you get my fkin point #waggotout
  7. Probably wouldn't even cover the costs they're paying to the solicitors for the O'Brian balls up
  8. Now Brittains back I'd even be tempted to stick this immense new lad Costello alongside Travis in the middle
  9. If by some miracle O'brian finally arrived to play alongside a rejuvenated Travis that would be something!
  10. Whatever you think of him it's a bit petty of people on here to be putting so much focus on Vales cameo apearance at this minute! Great performance and well deserved win, need to bring that attacking intensity to our league games and we'll smash the playoffs!
  11. Will be interesting to see how he gets on at this level, good luck to him, just a shame he's gone to a shitshow of a football club
  12. Anybody else feel we have too many "confidence players" in the team and not enough constant reliables
  13. Was going to say we could do with A Benni Mccarthy type striking coach... Then remembered Tomasson was actually a highly successful forward🙈 (although he definitely wasn't ever a prolific goal scorer)
  14. He'd be best to see this season out before making a final decision. If we get to the playoffs and he puts in a very good performance or 2 in front of the cameras with a big audience then it could tempt a few prem clubs to finally make a serious move for him. Or in the fantasy scenario that we won promotion he'd be better of signing a bumber Premier league contract here
  15. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2023/02/19/blackburn-transfer-news-rovers-make-last-ditch-offer-to-keep-brereton-diaz/ Any truth in this? Maybe a move to try and regain some support after the O'Brian fiasco Has his deal with the Spanish club not been sealed yet??
  16. Ive always sort of respected Man united, liverpool and Arsenal because they've built their enourmous clubs largely through decades of hard work, good management, success on the field and bringing through great home grown youth players, it's only in the past decade they've had to spend really big to keep up. Unlike wanky clubs like Man city, Chelsea... That would still be pretty average clubs if it wasn't for their insanely wealthy owners (I mean it wasn't that long ago city where related into division 1 themselves)
  17. If the filthy billionaire Arabs buy man united then they really should just piss off and start their own billy big bollox league of wankers.
  18. Rovers just hoping O'Brian quickly finds a club abroad so they can brush it all under the carpet with a 'well we tried..... We're a financially small club.... We dont have parachute payments.... It's never happened here before.... Blah blah blah...)
  19. Steve ugly bastard Cook was very quick to put the boot in us over the O'brian fiasco but now he thinks the rules should be ignored for him so he can add a few more names to his squad list! Fk me all the signings theyve made you'd think they'd have 3 or 4 players for every single position already! Weird one he is! That clubs heading for major early 2000s Leeds style collapse at this rate.
  20. Yes. They should have covered all bases in the paper work no matter how big or little. These are multi million pound companies with administrative staff earning probably hundreds of thousands between them. They simply should have known better, it was their mistake (even if it was only a seemingly minor mistake/oversight) That said! Imo... These are just honest mistakes and there is no reason for the efl not to show a bit of leniency when these things happen (because it doesn't benefit anybody to be so strict and pedantic with the rules)
  21. I just feel for the player. Just a shit show now, our clowns and the efl goons both fked up and there will be no real winner now, even if the loan goes through he will already have missed half a dozen games, then considering he's barely played first team football for a while he would likely need a few more weeks at least to get up to speed
  22. It's a shame because he seemed an excellent coach, just not a manager or tactician!
  23. Hedges was looking a star player a potential the beginning of the season. the fks happened to him! even szmodics was chipping in with goals and making himself busy to begin with.
