Even if the reported loan deal demands from Liverpool are only half true the deal should be scrapped. It goes completely against the "TEAM FIRST" ethos of JDT no player should be in the starting line up unless they're there on merit and ability, it would be completely wrong to have to drop one of our own players just to meet the contract demands of one player. Unless a player is willing to come here andcearn there place in the team and fight to keep it tgen they can frankly do one... And he's a bloody ginge.

I think one problem with finding the RIGHT defender now has only just become apparent in the last fortnight... I don't think anybody was expecting Ayala to become such a prominent dominating figure in our defence and although everyone likes to bash his injury record in recent years there's now no reason that with better coaching and fitness management he could be over the worst of it and be able to get 30+ games under his belt, So maybe now I think we're looking for someone to play backup to Ayala (and wharton to an extent) where as a few weeks ago i think we where looking more for a first choice "starter" with Ayala being more of a back up. If any of that makes sense 😣🤷♂️ Sorry If I'm just waffling, but the last few days posts on here have been pretty poor, so I'm trying 😄

I hope rovers have quietly put out an unofficial deadline day of around 25th August for any clubs seriously interested in bbd! The worst case scenario would be to lose him on deadline day or in the few days leading up to it leaving us little time to find and negotiate a deal for a good replacement 😣 Be interesting to know if they've already got a shortlist of potential replacements drawn up for if he does leave. I'm guessing if there is it will becstored away in the rovers vaults for Mr Broughtons eyes only 🤐😅

Sandman is pretty excellent! Fairly slow paced and lots of philosophical nattering, but still very engaging and pretty epic in scale!!

Me too (as long as the deal was sensible!) Can't see it happening though, i think maybe he'd still like to show he can still do it in the prem given the chance. That said there where reports of him linking up with Rooney in America (which would make sense because they do like there injury prone older players over there)

Might give it a go sometime thanks. Have you seen the aussie film "the snowtown murders" If you like true crime stuff? Probably one of the most truly disturbing films I've seen in the past 20 years, a very tough harrowing film to sit through, really gets under your skin but it's so well made and acted(mostly by first time actors!) and the story is so morbidly fascinating, almost unbelievable to think it is completely based on a real story and that in reality the true happenings where supposed to be even more disturbing!!

Going to start on Sandman, looks right up my straight..... Looks to have been universally very well recieved as well. Finished strangers things 4 last week, haven't been a massive fan of stranger things (well the first two seasons where a bit dull) but season 4 was absolutely brilliant in parts, Some of the story lines could have been cut right down to make it a bit shorter though, I thought all the stuff in Russia could have just been cut right down into a couple of episode. Frustratingly looks like it will be at least 2 years before the final season arrives, which could be strange as the kids are going to look ridiculously older by then, especially considering it should be pretty much carrying on right where season 4 ended

Watched the film Animal Kingdom like 10 years ago and that's REALLY good so never felt the need to give the tv show a watch

I love it, starting to remind me even more of the Hughes days, when we defended and pressed like right bastards but still attacked like cold blooded assassins every chance we got, the oppo and snidey pundits hated us then as well but all it did was galvanise our team spirit more -

What a tosspot Sounds a bit mowbrayesque in his excuses and waffling You dont accidentally win 3 nill, sounds like we had them in our pocket tactically for most of the game -

Another great result and we seem to be getting even better by the week, couple more good permanent signings and no suprise exists or serious injuries! And we could be inline for a fun year 🎉 🎉 But all that aside! The thing I'm most proud of today is this stupid post... Sorry I know I'm a idiot but I do make myself giggle 🤭 -

Precisely the type of goal Szmodics was signed to score👌 The kind of goal dack would have scored 2 years ago prior to injuries, with his high wages you've got to think Dack could be on the move now, cant afford to having on the bench every week at that price. (p.s. nothing personal against dack and still think he can do a job if he stays fit, just a bit too expensive to be a bench warmer most weeks now) -

..... For those that have been saying all week what a poor relegation bound team QPR are and how Ace Boro are.....
