Really no interest in the new game of thrones, i thought by the end they'd milked it for all it's worth in the original show, the new one looks like more of the same only duller and without all the great characters and actors from the first show and being a prequel set only a couple of hundred years earlier you kinda know how it all ends. The lord of the rings series looks fantastic though! Potentially even better than the original movie trilogy

Really feel we need/needed to get one more friendly in before the qpr game, there's a lot of first team players lacking minutes on the pitch. Seems like a huge portion of the friendlies his been given over to blooding and assessing our youngsters, which is good! But i feel it's taken a little away from giving our established first teamers game time and the chance to really work hard on new tactics during the games

Dwight Gayles signed for Stoke on a 2 year deal. I know it's not in the clubs remit to sign older players, but he's exactly the kind of proven goal poacher we're missing in the squad

Id say they like to make derisory offers for quality proven uk players which then get turned down, then in retaliation they'll pathetically go out and spend way over the odds on some relatively unknown Johnny foreigner that turns out to be pretty shyte. (Please excuse my non pc terms 😅)

I just dont really understand the full logic behind being able to pay large transfer fees and breaking the wage structure to give big salaries to the occasional 'special signing' but not being able to give vastly improved contracts to players that are already on the books (when the player is clearly worth every penny)

Really is like watching 2 different players if you see how he played for us in his first few years to what he was at Newcastle in his later years We definitely got the best end of the stick To be fair he did suffer a lot of very bad injuries in his career so had to adjust his game, it's ridiculous he was still able to play and score at a high level for as long as he did really!

Well i was going to watch another episode of Strangers Things 4 in bed but this nabbed my attention instead. Definitely feel a little more reasured about things in general after reading that, thanks for taking tge time out to type it all up...
