  1. Judy Clay & William Bell - Private Number
  2. It was also good to see Bill Fox too. Unfortunately, the clip made him out to be a bit of an F.A. dinosaur not wanting to upset the status quo.

  13. I’ve been going to Ewood since 1959, my dad lifting me over the perimeter wall on the Riverside to sit on the raised wooden planks alongside all the other kids. I stood on the terraces until all seating became compulsory, but nowadays I’m quite happy to sit with my daughter and a friend I’ve known since primary school. I have similar memories as yourself of standing on the terraces and swapping ends at half time, but that’s what they are now.....fond memories.
  14. Georgie Fame & The Blue Flames - Yeah, Yeah
  15. Why would the Riverside be the ideal place? The Riverside regulars, myself included, have never stood up at matches in this stand, it’s one of the reasons we sit there. If we had wanted to, we would have seats in the Blackburn End or lower Darwen End. These sections would be more popular and appropriate to the supporters more likely to want to stand. Also, these areas would generate much more atmosphere and visual impact. So please, leave us Riversiders be and jump up and down to your heart’s content elsewhere.

  17. One for you Stonesrick The Glimmer Twins - It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll
  18. Disappointing finish to the Lancashire 20Twenty season. It could have been a different outcome if Gleeson hadn’t no balled when he had Smeed caught behind and the umpire had correctly given Abell out lbw. However, they were probably 20 runs short on a very good track after a quick fire start.
  19. Dr. Feelgood - Milk And Alcohol
  20. Small Faces - My Mind’s Eye
  21. I was going to go with Lady Jane, but I think this is a more fitting tribute to the legend who is Charlie Watts. The Rolling Stones - Soul Survivor RIP Charlie
  22. Charlie Watts, drummer with The Rolling Stones has died, aged 80 A member since the original band started up in 1963, he will be best remembered for his laid back, easy going manner. Although he will be known for being a member of the greatest rock ‘n roll band, his main love was as a jazz officinado. I had the pleasure of seeing the band play on a couple of occasions which I will cherish. RIP Charlie, you legend.
  23. Cliff Bennett And The Rebel Rousers - Got To Get You Into My Life
