Too bad about Buckley, I thought he had progressed well, and we could afford to send Morton back to Liverpool. It won’t happen now (until end of the season). With all the other injuries, guys are going to have to come through. We need some players like Travis, Gallagher, Wharton (when ready), to give us some of the best football of their careers.

I agree with Andy on this. This is as close to a “must-win” as it gets, a home game vs a bottom of the division outfit, who do not score on the road. Bb-D, Dolan, Thomas, & Szmodics- if there is a way to get them all on the pitch at one time, I would do it. I will go for a 2-1 win, ugly, but we will savor a win just as much at the final whistle, as if it were 10-0 (well, maybe not!), a win is a win. COYB!

I’m trying to catch up on team news, it’s been a busier week than normal. I see Scott Wharton is back in, Ayala & Dack still out. This game is a big challenge for Rovers, all three points would be a huge boost. Defending has been more than I could ask for (only allowed 4 goals in last 8 league games), even a 1-1 result would be welcome.

ShefU wanted this game… no mistake about it. And, a huge traveling support. They gave effort, but in the end, they weren’t as skillful. I expect to see a similar effort at Stoke on Friday. COYB! 16,464.

This establishes Rovers as a definite factor in playoffs, if not automatic promotion. Defending has been excellent, we get goals when we need ‘em. With Tomasson’s leadership, every man doing his job, and the carrot out there to be had, it’s gonna be a heart-pounding finish to the season.
