[Archived] Paul Dickov Signs - Good Deal Or Not ?
Ste B replied to Baz's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
You were wrong about this one. As was I. -
I ordered one 2 days before release which turned up on the 2nd December, made me a few quid on Ebay
-
USED to use their facilities. He is from Welwyn Garden City, but was apparently seeing a girl from the Bolton area, so moved there.

[Archived] Jansen Rips Up Contract

Leam Richardson moved to Accy Stanley from Blackpool, and played left back against halfax on 2nd Jan. Jon Walters moved to Wrexham during the summer Left winger Ryan Baldacchino is now at Gretna. Marc Richards went direct to Northampton. -
I can think of a few things where it would be more useful, 2 spring to mind. Use it to smack Vinjay around the head ? Stick it at left back instead of Matteo ?
-
I appreciate that its useful and may stop people asking the ticket office daft questions. It took all of 20 seconds to get my united ticket once I got through, but you can bet that there will be some who were ahead of me who didnt have their account numbers, credit cards, or brains to hands holding the queue up.
-
We dont realise just how easy it really is to get tickets normally. I've been on for q15 mins and gone from 31-9 in that time. Still think we need a decent internet booking facility not the shambles we have now, and it should be an 01254 number not a fee taking one. Oh and give me a chance to lose the messages at the start, I can read that online first thanks. Minor gripes though really as normally they are very good.

and on the phones it appears.

Rovers have now confirmed that it was a leaking pipe under the Darwen End concourse. http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...~762836,00.html Now can we put this one to bed, or does somebody want photographs

[Archived] Jansen Rips Up Contract
Ste B replied to Wild Irish Rover's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Well I for one am glad it isnt, I'd more likely go to Flitcrofts than his. Jansen has had 3 years worth of wages when most players would have been sacked on the spot for breaking the terms of their contract by buggering about on a motorbike. That said, I still hope that he can just scrape through and make it with us. I'll choose to remember the many good times we had when he was at his best; Cardiff and Preston being 2 of the best moments I have experienced with Rovers. -

The tent was actually an indoor bar made to look like a marquee, which was under the stand ala blues. Decent enough bar, and the pies in there were half price -
Oh FFS. Nobody posting on here understands exactly how undersoil heating does/should work. Its the coldest spell we have had for 20 years. As the saying goes, @#/? happens. Get over it, its the 3rd game in about 15 years thats been called off, which is realistically a decent record. Remember the disgrace that was the ICI pitch we used to have where if somebody left the tap on in the bogs, the game was off ?? I get the impression certain people on here are waiting for the opportunity to have a pop. For the record, Rovers should take the SMS numbers of all season ticket holders, and if a game is called off SMS them immediately, but I dont see what they could realistically have done if the game looked on at 5pm and the game was called off at 6.
-
shefKI FFS How bad is Mark Viduka though ? Whilst Mendieta and Yakubu should have at least troubled Brad, this so called superstar just walked through the entire game. Contrast this with the whole hearted performance Shef put in today, and you can see just why he deserved his goals.
-
Why exactly ??? Given that every penny Rovers make is put back into the playing side, surely the whole point is to raise as much revenue as possible. We cant keep chucking cheap tickets in, it just doesnt seem to work. I'd just like to refer to the comments of SCUMmings here -
-
Its a semi final for gods sake, Rovers cannot keep putting out cheap tickets for every game. We also have to agree pricing with the other team, who quit obviously have a debt to service nowadays. No doubt people who choose to miss the semi will be the first complaining when they cant get tickets at over twice the price for the final. OR complaining that we havent bid enough for Benny McCarthy. Yes, theres a lot of games, but most of the home games can be paid for by spreading the cost by getting a season ticket. This cup represents our best chances of winning something, and puts a spark into a season where we would otherwise just be fighting for midtable medriocrity. Lets hope our fans get down to Ewood and get behind the team.
-
Yeah, but they are from London not Manchester, and even so theres no flights at that price on the 10th june getting you into frankfurt in time to see the game. Our flights are booked using Hapag Lloyd, going out on the 8th to Cologne and coming back on the 14th. Given Hotel prices etc al, its probably for the best we dont go for too long.

Change the record FFS, and leave it out of the ISA thread until you fancy putting your money where your mouth is. I won't hold my breath waiting. -
He's just had a warning for going off topic.

Create a match room for yourself, and then set a password. May be around later tonight for a quick game.. or JPW plays occasionally. -

If you had read the minutes of the meetings previous (which are published on the brisa website), you would find that BRISA have already raised the question of the Walker Trust. These things take time to get answers though. -
I've seen those buskers on the tube as well. Better than Pearl Jam I suppose. So. you want to be in a mucky german porno video then ? Aiming high I see.
