  1. There will probably be a good few potential walk ons waiting to see if the heavy rain eases off before making a decision. Only to be put off by the Waggott Tax kicking in at 12.
  2. Not many will be forking out 50 quid for 2 home games. Especially if get stung by the Waggott Tax at least once. Can see the Forest game being like a ghost town with quite a lot of ST holders unable to attend evening games. Should be an incentive for walk ons like buy Luton game get fiver off Forest.
  3. Think you misunderstood Stuart. Try it t'other way round pal. It's the future fans that should be a priority... apologies if my post was too obtuse. 500 kids over 1 overpaid kid everyday.
  4. We only have so much to invest. It was decided to invest it in new strikers instead of fans. One of those is the future of our club. The other is a bit of a waste.
  5. $heriff Waggott of Blackburn Collecting taxes from the poor to give to the rich. Stealing the heritage of East Lancs children by letting them wear Stanley shirts and not follow The Rovers. Depriving East Lancs babies of their heritage and Rovers scarves. ? Destroying the lives of East Lancs pensioners who can't get to Ewood because he won't help organise local buses and force the opening of Ewood car parks. "We are doing all we can (to destroy the club) but we don't have the budget for it"
  6. Are Stanley not in a far better financial position to Rovers ? i.e. not losing £1million per month Both situations down to respective owners. 500 kids shirts will be a small investment (not gift) for Holt but we "don't have the budget for it".
  7. Sheriff Waggott of Blackburn Collecting Taxes from the poor to give to the rich and donating scarves to babies.
  8. Woooo this is so exciting. Someone is going to win the Waggott £10 grand giveaway "Season Tickets, which start from £319 for adults in the RFS Riverside, will remain on sale until Monday September 16th, with the unique prize draw scheduled to take place at half-time of the game against Luton Town at Ewood Park on Saturday September 28th." Clause 1 "The winner will need to be in the stadium on the day of the game." Clause 2 “The draw will only happen if we get to that landmark 10K figure, which will get us back to Premier League numbers.” Oh...that put a damper on it.
  9. Isn't the draw this Saturday for the lucky ST holder who will win £10K ? Of course it isn't and this is why the forum minutes are probably delayed being published, because it should tell us the ST sales figures. Of course there is now £10K going spare in the budget which can buy lots of scarves for babies. Whoever came up with that idea should be sacked for gross incompetance.
  10. Still no minutes published from the fans forum meeting. Are they delaying purposely to hide something ?
  11. We would all be absolutely against it Stuart. Doubt we would be asked though. Can't see a new Venky stand paid for by our owners (like Jack did). They should sell Neville mansion and build a new stand. Clowns.
  12. Waggott's priorities are to bring in additional revenue (not just on matchdays) and move us away from the benefactor model. Been said many times. They can knock down the Riverside. Move the fans into the closed areas of the other 3 sides. Reduce the capacity. Reduce the matchday running costs. Lease the land out to someone who will build a hotel leaving Ewood as a 3 sided ground. A hotel with balconies etc would at least look better than a Normid Superstore. TV gantries can form part of the hotel so we look like a full ground on Sky. Surely this is a more likely outcome / business decision. Fans emotions aside, why would anyone build a new stand when there are already 3 more than half empty stands?
  13. According to Sharpe In a change to the advertised formation, looks like #Rovers are going with Gallagher up top, Downing on the right and Armstrong on the left.
  14. Either Graham or Adam to win it from the bench.
  15. Who is paying to build this new stand and hotel ? Euro Garages ?
  16. Did the Fans Forum meeting go ahead last week and when can we expect to see the minutes on the website ? Was the ST sales and attendances discussed in detail ?
  17. At the time, the only person who could be held accountable to answer was Mike Cheston. First answer was that Coyle was the only one who fit the criteria Pressed about the criteria, the answer was that he was on holiday and didn't hire Coyle (he was indeed on holiday).. Asked who did hire Coyle, the answer was that he didn't know. (unbelievable?) In another meeting, Coyle said that he was hired by Bala. The assumption was made by many that it was cost. It has never been established as fact to my knowledge.
  18. And at the time Suhail was working for Kentaro who "fixed" the Venky deal and the rest is history although Suhail is now "working for the owners". This is a matter of fact. Still to be explained.
  19. Great idea that Stuart, agree with the ideas in that proposed layout. In particular like where you put a proper dedicated disabled area. Embarassing to see folk in wheelchairs sat helplessly in the torrential rain at the bottom of the Riverside when there is so much space. Can you email that to Steve Waggott and ask him... why ? / why not ?
  20. Exactly and the key word is minimum. Chaddy well within his creative licence to use the word roughly at this early stage. Some good sides below us who will be up there. Important we have consistency and stay on track so the roughly becomes less so.
  21. Just watched this. First reaction was screaming at Rippers for needlessly losing the ball in the far corner. Fans criticised for criticising players... What stupidity. Armstrong is paid to score goals. He needs to score goals. Not sure it's more complicated than that really.
  22. I was reading Huddersfield have 18000 season ticket holders and only 2200 matchday tickets available. They had sold out in early April. We have 8600 season tickets and 20,000 available. Ours went on sale in June. Something is wrong.
