Tony Mowbray felt a failure to register more than two shots on target, and conceding from a set piece, were big disappointments from the defeat to Luton. However, the boss felt the performance on a whole, if replicated, would win Rovers more games than they lose as they seek a response against Nottingham Forest. Rovers had 17 shots on goal, but Lewis Travis' goal, and a second half Danny Graham shot, were the only two that managed to hit the target. So he basically thinks that the performance was good. Nobody on here seems to agree. And he seems to have finally picked up on the glaring stat that we are only getting 1 or 2 shots on target each game. Armstrong 0, Gallagher 0, Graham 1 (after 3 minutes on the pitch). A few more games and the penny might drop that Graham is our best striker and needs to be on the pitch.
-
At 60 minutes we had had only one shot on target. First 15 minutes couldn't have been that good.
-
Sorry Amo. I would prefer us to go up with a squad capable of competing to stay up and then consolidate. Out of interest, what do you think would happen to all that money ?
-
goal music and VAR certainly don't mix We want neither
-
A good manager would have Arma off and Samuel on whilst his confidence is up we can win this with Graham and Samuel goals. Obviously Mowbray won't have that idea so Bell is likely to be the final sub.
-
60 mins at home and only 1 shot on target. Pathetic.
-
15,319 with 1,326 away is the crowd.

oh dear

According to Sharpe, Rothwell is still ill (coughing snd spluttering) and Evans is also ill which is why both don't feature. According to Madon, Rothwell looked fine on thr carpark but started coughing and spluttering when he saw he wasn't in the squad.
-
Samuel on the bench. Rothwell left in the carpark with Madon

As long as it's still open / standing. 8000 of us will be able to go back and reclaim our club.
-
It is £28 in the BBE if you decide to go now. Another £25 game on Tuesday night. Should be £20 quid right up to kick off.
-
The sun is out. Some now thinking "might as well go to the game..." This way to $heriff Waggot's Tax Office.
-
Today's matchday timetable. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/september/matchday-timetable-luton-town-h/ 12:00 Waggott Tax (missed from the list) 15:25 clap because its 25 years since we won the PL. ???? Is this done every game ? I'm sure we didn't win the title on Sept 28th. Stupid beyond Stupid idea. No official celebration of Kean Out day ? 15:45 means 15 minute queues for refreshments. No half time draw for £10K (ssshhhh they forgot about that) replaced with a Matt Jansen wave.
-
There will probably be a good few potential walk ons waiting to see if the heavy rain eases off before making a decision. Only to be put off by the Waggott Tax kicking in at 12.
-
Not many will be forking out 50 quid for 2 home games. Especially if get stung by the Waggott Tax at least once. Can see the Forest game being like a ghost town with quite a lot of ST holders unable to attend evening games. Should be an incentive for walk ons like buy Luton game get fiver off Forest.

Think you misunderstood Stuart. Try it t'other way round pal. It's the future fans that should be a priority... apologies if my post was too obtuse. 500 kids over 1 overpaid kid everyday.
-
We only have so much to invest. It was decided to invest it in new strikers instead of fans. One of those is the future of our club. The other is a bit of a waste.

$heriff Waggott of Blackburn Collecting taxes from the poor to give to the rich. Stealing the heritage of East Lancs children by letting them wear Stanley shirts and not follow The Rovers. Depriving East Lancs babies of their heritage and Rovers scarves. ? Destroying the lives of East Lancs pensioners who can't get to Ewood because he won't help organise local buses and force the opening of Ewood car parks. "We are doing all we can (to destroy the club) but we don't have the budget for it"
-
Are Stanley not in a far better financial position to Rovers ? i.e. not losing £1million per month Both situations down to respective owners. 500 kids shirts will be a small investment (not gift) for Holt but we "don't have the budget for it".

Woooo this is so exciting. Someone is going to win the Waggott £10 grand giveaway "Season Tickets, which start from £319 for adults in the RFS Riverside, will remain on sale until Monday September 16th, with the unique prize draw scheduled to take place at half-time of the game against Luton Town at Ewood Park on Saturday September 28th." Clause 1 "The winner will need to be in the stadium on the day of the game." Clause 2 “The draw will only happen if we get to that landmark 10K figure, which will get us back to Premier League numbers.” Oh...that put a damper on it.
-
Isn't the draw this Saturday for the lucky ST holder who will win £10K ? Of course it isn't and this is why the forum minutes are probably delayed being published, because it should tell us the ST sales figures. Of course there is now £10K going spare in the budget which can buy lots of scarves for babies. Whoever came up with that idea should be sacked for gross incompetance.
-
Still no minutes published from the fans forum meeting. Are they delaying purposely to hide something ?
