  1. Firstly my post was about the present, not the past. But yes I forgive them, not the type to hold a grudge forever. Lost 10,000 fans? No we didn’t. We lost 10k people who pop by Ewood if they fancy it, like Oxford at home. Don’t give a **** about that lot. I follow Rovers through it all, not just when it’s a good day out.
  2. Asking if I’m 9 says more about you pal. Since Mowbray came in Venkys have been great. Your anti Mowbray every week so assume also anti Venkys. The wage budget they let us have in league 1? The investment in the squad for a team like us? Yes they have been brilliant. Sorry if you still live in Jack Walker Premier League bubble, have a look around.
  3. Who knows what our owners think, It’s all guess work. Since Mowbray has come in, I’d say they have been brilliant. Could that change tomorrow? Absolutely. My un-educated feeling is they have realised we need to go up for them to get their money back, and they banking on Mowbray from trust he’s built. But **** knows
  4. So replace Nyambe, Williams, Lenihan (Internationals), Ayala, Bell, Douglas, Wharton. Our budget was 1.3 million remember. All gone. No manager is replacing that, on zero budget in January. So let Mowbray see the season out.
  5. So imagine a work place, which one guy assembled, and all the staff love him, and believe in him, and then you boot that guy mid season and just expect a new guy to make them all better. Could work, but risky, very risky, for a team NOT in crisis. Whats nice guy Tony about? He booted out player favourites Smallwood and Mulgrew. He got rid of Raya. He sent Chapman packing. (And on a side note for Chapman, let’s quash the Mowbray bashing on him. He signed the guy twice, he wanted him to succeed, the guy is clearly a **** or not good enough, and 20’min cameos in league1 is nothing to adhere).
  6. Venkys can wait. Its fans like you who demand urgent action. Do you honestly think Pearson comes in and up we go? What changes?
  7. Pearson could be great, he could be the man. Or he could not be? I personally would let Mowbray see the season out, and if no good, let “Pearson” have all summer to get his team right and then take us up. We can wait a year right?
  8. We are half way through season today. If we match goals for and against for second half, that’s puts us 5th based on last seasons table. Irrelevant stat, but so is thinking sacking our back room staff and bringing in new people will suddenly stuck us in play offs.
  9. Small thing that bought me so much joy that I just remembered. When we won a free kick, and their player then kicked Brereton as he picked the ball, Travis came flying in with the shove, trying to escalate the moment. In the EPL reactions like that would get VAR having another look. But in our world, I like it because it shows we are a team. Glad to have him back.
  10. Amen brother. No new manager will suddenly get us up, considering despite what fans want to believe, the squad are all bought into Mowbray. See where we finish, if no good, change it in summer.
  11. And if Douglas shot that hit post against Stoke went in, it be 1-1 and they change their play and so on and so on. Have I missed something where being 1-0 up away and then finishing the team off 2-0 as they chase the game is all of a sudden not a great result?
  12. Rovers win and you usual suspects baffling on about some Mowbray analyst crap. Try and enjoy the win, you don’t know when next one is coming
  13. I was referring to Armstrong, who he wanted to sell for the big bucks, who Mowbray signed. Know what you mean about Gallagher, never really been convinced. There’s no doubting his work ethic, and he’s playing out of position, but yeah who knows. £5 million really is peanuts for a striker these days, just baffles me some fans get so hung up on that, yet ignore the Dack and Armstrong fees. If Armstrong was 5 million and Gallagher was 1 million, that would make more sense. Either way we spent £6 million and got both, and anyone who thinks that’s a bad deal is silly.
  14. I know what you are relating to, heard it enough times. Yet Armstrong, Dack, Dolan, Rothwell, Kaminski all just grew on trees.
  15. Worked out alright when he signed him in first place didn’t it?
  16. Like I said, opinions. You saw a player lose the ball and another get lucky to be there to score. I saw Dolan do really well to carry the ball for us when clocks ticking down, try hold it up against 4 men, and then the Dack man come in to send it home.
  17. That’s football for you, opinions. You say lucky, I say his instinct and technique is why he is who he is.
  18. Brilliant from Kaminski at the end. Johnson did very well defensively. Davenport and Travis brilliant in the middle. Best Armstrong performance in a while. Gallagher worked his socks off. Dolan superb when he came on. Elliott, Rothwell, Brereton not at their best, that’s why this is a squad game. And welcome back Dacky!!!
  19. We didn’t need a Davenport or travis today. Can’t believe that lump has scored 2 past us, we are so crap at defending.
  20. Sorry, Buckley is supposed to be better attacking. I don’t rate him, I also don’t rate Nyambe as an attacker. I see the logic in the manager thinking his “intelligent ball playing midfielder” had more chance of creating us a goal. As we saw, made no difference.
  21. Firstly, I get the Buckley substitution. Going for a goal, expecting the ball, get someone on with better quality. As someone who’s banging on about giving Mowbray time, and I really appreciate everything he’s done, it’s not working. We are guaranteed to concede every game. We are predictable. I have no fear what so ever of Armstrong going to a bigger club, because he just doesn’t fit in anywhere else as a centre forward. He’s had a great season, and end of last season, I’m not knocking him he’s a key player for us. But, can’t see anyone snapping him up. Holtby continues his run of being non existent. We knew what Ayala was about with injuries, still not a bad signing. We are not threatening. As an attacking force we are slow and predictable, defensively awful, set pieces we are likely to concede but never score. I think we have peeked, with out peeking.
  22. That’s not a bad half. Huddersfield better then last couple we have played, we have had a few chances. The win is absolutely there for us today though, if we don’t win this one, then I finally conceed that something needs to change. I am pro Mowbray, and this game is exactly what we need to win, no excuses of parking bus, let’s get Dack on and do it. I think we will.
  23. That ball From Nyambe, he’s killed himself going front post, he’s all alone pull into middle and when cross comes he scores
  24. This kind of space and openness is perfect for Dack get him on half time
  25. This is game I been waiting for, we got the space to do our thing, let’s see if we do it. Jury’s out
