How nice is it to have players on the bench worth bringing on, something that hasn’t always been the case. Some what fortunate to be ahead at half time then bringing on Johnson and Gallagher for height was perfect. I think when you play a team like Preston the other night where they are so hopeless it made us a bit slow to start as Barnsley got in our face. But class prevailed. Very much agree with the original poster in that the causal clothing from Rovers store is cheap garbage that isn’t even cheap. Its hard to spend money at Rovers store, like someone said instead of begging for money from fans, just give us something worth buying.

I really can’t understand the Mowbray out prograde. Well I sort of do, you think by right we should be in the Premier League. You think bin Mowbray, get gods knows who in and all of a sudden we will be EPL. Infact from what I see most you think Damien Johnson is the answer, because you know, you lot love an insider. The majority of you think Johnson was shit, yet we miss him. You said we don’t need Downing now, yet he was our best player last season and now you rejoice he’s back. The majority have bummed Lenihan for last few years, but are now seeing the useless waste of space Williams is our best centre half. The majority wrote of Brereton as a 19yr old flop, desperate for Chapman after his 2 good games in League 1. The majority didn’t want Armstrong anymore, league 1 player, now our star man and top scorer of the league, yet still some aren’t sure cos our million pound man doesn’t finish every opportunity. The disaster that is Mowbray built this squad you all adore. He is the reason we got promoted first time asking, he is the reason we have this squad, (as in Elliott Bennett) another who the majority want out. The majority on here do not have the first clue. Honestly. It’s not good enough right now, but it’s no where near manager out time.

Lenihan gets such an easy ride. Either every defender he plays with is crap, or maybe it’s him. His in ability to pass has always been overlooked because he heads in and looks like he tries 100%, but I’m not sure about him and haven’t been for a while. JRC and Douglas having very poor games too

There is not getting away from the fact that Brereton looked completely useless when he first signed, shot of confidence and nothing went his way. This season he has been absolutely superb so far and is looking like the player I saw against us when we beat Forrest 1-0, and i thought who is that guy he’s a talent. Long may Brereton form continue, and another dagger to the heart of those fans who like to use him as a scapegoat to get rid of Mowbray, our best manager since Hughes.
