  1. Latte Latthe - £22.5M Isaiah Jones - £5M Morgan Rogers - £15M Akpom - £10.5M The previous season they sold Spence & Tavernier for more than £20M, and this summer Hackney will likely be sold for big money. They rejected multiple bids for him in January because they could get a better price in the summer if they didn't go up (can you imagine not selling your star home grown midfielder at the sniff of the first offer?) But unlike Rovers under Venkys, Boro have ambition & reinvest the money they recieve
  2. He is in my opinion a disinterested show pony, an expensive one at that, who has now hardly played in over a year, and seems to get injured on the rare occasions that he does. As for getting a contract in Saudi, not all of their players are Ronaldo etc. Plenty of foreign also rans currently make up the numbers, he would fit right in
  3. yes, I think it was in the podcast with Sam Allardyce.
  4. Doesn't appear so, plenty stuff from his time at Fleetwood Youth team and Charnock Richard if you go back far enough https://www.fleetwoodtownfc.com/eastham-charnock-richard-loan/
  5. Not sure we sign Sanderson unless we lose at least 2 of our current senior centre backs. (which is possible) Gestede already on record (I know) as saying we want a left footed centre back to compete/cover for Wharton, which would leave us with 5 (Batth, Carter & Hyam being the others). And that is before we even factor in the return to the academy kids model and fitting in Atcheson & Litherland I could certainly see a world where we sell Carter & Hyam to pay the bills & Birmingham give Sanderson a free/low fee move to get him off the wage bill
  6. He is on somewhere between £80K & £120K per week, not a chance on earth we sign him permanently He will end up in Saudi or similar
  7. Investigation complete. Following an autistic deep dive into both Jordans & Connors twitter profile, I can confirm that they are indeed related
  8. Bundu is more a "utility forward" than a winger for me, and hasn't played wide that often since the new manager came in in January, his technique is a bit hit and miss but he is fast, which would be useful to have to change things up,
  9. Personally would say they got promoted despite him, not because of him
  10. Jake Garrett goal, video should start from the right place
  11. Neither of which they had in the team last season when then finished in the top 6 of the Championship. They also had the millstone of the idiot that is Russell Martin for a manager
  12. They will finish top 6, as will Leicester and Ipswich (who will both probably finish top 2 barring Leicester getting a massive points deduction) Huge gulf between the Prem and the Championship
  13. Looks like I updated my post exactly when you replied to me Bad day all around unfortunately, not even a Preston relegation to console me
  14. Very much secondary, but the U18s final game of the season was home home to Sunderland Edit - they conceded 5 2nd half goals to lose 5-1
  15. I would add to that. It is being shown on Rovers TV If you are overseas (or have a VPN) However for those in the UK, it is on Sky Sports +
  16. Yep, just a case of which back door they finally managed to open to push it through
  17. Comes down to money, The Deloitte Football money league publishes an annual top 30 clubs based on revenue. The most recent of which contained 14 Premier League teams in the top 30 (and 6 in the top 10) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deloitte_Football_Money_League
  18. Yes Assuming that the story is true and Man Utd, Chelsea & Liverpool are all chasing him, and want to sign Tyjon whilst he is still under contract, a bid has to be made and accepted. If Tyjon has made his mind up already & Man Utd are happy to wait a year, then ias long as Rovers offer him a deal, it would then come down to compensation at a tribunal (unless the clubs agree a fee)
  19. Yes, he has signed a scholarship contract which ties him to the club until the summer of 2026. Phillips signed both a scholarship contract (at the time he was still going by Famuyiwa rather than Phillips), & then a pro contract for the maximum time allowed of 3 years given his age. The pro contract was the contract with a release clause included
  20. Starts this weekend for O'Riordan - lost 1-0 - finished 13th - Crewe were 2nd & going for automatic promotion when he signed for them Batty - lost 1-0 - finished 21st Garrett - won 4-1 - scored to make it 1-1 - withdrawn after 77 minutes with the score at 3-1 - finished 20th On the bench Markanday - won 4-1 - result means they finish 6th & qualified for play offs Not involved in matchday squad Saadi - won 2-0 Vale - won 2-1 - currently injured Duru - drew 0-0 - currently injured - finished 16th As an aside, results mean that Chesterfield (with McFadzean & Fleck both playing the full 90 minutes) finish 7th and qualify for the playoffs & Richie Smallwood's Bradford finish 3rd to earn automatic promotion Play on Monday Olson - score/update Powell - score/update Goddard - score/update After this weekend, the only games that remain for our loanees (I think) are: Leyton Orient (Markanday) Semi finals - 10th May, 14th May Final - 25th May Motherwell (Vale - should he be fit at any point this season) 10th May, 14th May, 18th May Ethnikos Achnas (Saadi - who seems to be a fixture on the bench now that they cannot be relegated 11th May
