v Ipswich Town (h) - 20/9/25

Going forwards, I do hope they just make any game that is abandoned at any point be restarted as soon as is practicable, from the same minute, with the same score, with they same number of players on the pitch etc * as long as the game can impact the table in any way, if not then the result can just stand as it is when the game is abandoned -

And we can all be sure that once the rules change, the next time a game gets called off, Rovers will be 1-0 down, and he other team will be awarded the win -

Might be sooner when it turns out Rovers neglected to press send, and as a result, Ipswich's suggestion passes unchallenged 😉 -
On the bench this evening as Doncaster rotate their team with 9 changes (feel free to check my maths). Spurs also rotate but look strong O'Riordan - lost 3-0 - remained on the bench throughout

What if the hard and fast rule stated "unless there is nothing at stake and the result is not capable of impacting the relegation/promotion picture" -

Yep, and If they really must, then in the interests of integrity, they could also order that at least X number of players on each side are the same players as those who were on the pitch when the game was abandoned, in the same way that they dictate how many players from the last league game must start low priority cup games -
We brought him in from Palace in 2022, his contract was extended during the summer (surprisingly in my opinion), he has been called up for the senior Pakistan team once or twice which think says more about the lack of quality in their squad than it does his ability

Apparently signed for Rovers in 2022

Seems you are right, and this situation will remain until Sherons successor is appointed

Seems as though it fell apart after Joseph was withdrawn with 30 mins to go

Goals from U18s 8-3 win at Liverpool
-
score/update I assume it will be Kahn Pitt McIlroy Eze Wilkinson Potter Farkas Clanford McCoy Doherty Joseph From what I've seen, Clanford looks very fast on the right wing, McCoy is more the modern type of winger cutting inside from the left onto his right foot (although looks like he may be playing as a 10 today), McCoy made his U21s debut off the bench last night Assuming its the same player, Mbonzale was part of our U13 squad less than 2 years ago
-
a couple of other former U18s/U21s have found new clubs Teddy Ramwell is in Spain Tom Bloxham must love blue & white halves
-
We may have Wood, Tyjon, Litherland, Michalski/Honor, and possibly Montgomery in todays side, but apart from that, it will be U18s I think

2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂
KentExile replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Another member of staff gone, & to the Dingles https://trainingground.guru/bulletin-board/ Adam Collins has left Blackburn Rovers to become Head of Academy Operations at local rivals Burnley. Collins had been Head of Performance Analysis for both the first team and Academy at Rovers since November 2022. He has previously worked for both Manchester United, as Performance Analyst for the first team, and Manchester City, as Head of Performance Analysis for the Academy, as well as for Sheffield United and Scunthorpe United. Writing on LinkedIn about his new role at Turf Moor, he said: “It takes me back into the Academy and learning environment full-time, where my passion has always been….at an exciting time, with the Academy recently returning to Category 1 status.” Looks like he was already replaced over the summer -

Such a negative impact so that he got a move to a Premier league team, and was decent enough for them to be a regular in their matchday squad for half of his first season at Brentford, and now at the age of 21 is a regular starter in a League 1 team I genuinely think that Football Manager games have warped peoples perceptions of how quickly young players should and do develop -
Is this one there? Its Darragh Tuffy
