  1. Who could have possibly predicted such as strange occurrence?
  2. Their forum makes amusing reading, Apparently he played Rothwell as the deepest of his midfield 3, and a right back (Max Aarons) at left back I have no dog in the whole Rangers/Celtic thing, but I vehemently dislike Russell Martin, so for as long as he is there, I wish them nothing but disaster & disappointment
  3. If that's the case then the result makes better reading Hopefully he learns from it
  4. How on earth did I forget that Ennis existed? 😉 Further afield, Dolan came off the bench for his Espanyol (friendly) debut) & Rothwell is also playing now for Rangers- from a very quick scan of Rangers forum, it seems they have not taken to the ever so likeable Russell Martin, who has been playing Rothwell as the deepest of 3 midfielders (ahead of a Belgian International) and Mx Aarons (a right back) at left back He got an assist for the opening goal
  5. I don't doubt it, I just find it strange that he has played in 1 solitary game for the U21s
  6. He didn't play for the U21s though Maybe he had a relapse?
  7. He played for the U21s last week Would be strange that he cannot train, but can play for the u21s
  8. U21s lost 2-0 to Ashton
  9. An easy one to start off with, as just the one player is currently away on loan Start today for O'Riordan - won 1-0 - played the full 90 & helped to keep a clean sheet Although seeing as we do not have many out on loan, and the friendly in the Netherlands may or may not be streamed. There are also a few games which may contain former Rovers which will be on Sky Sports + at 3pm today if anyone is interested in keeping tabs . The pick of these seemed to be Markanday scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win for Chesterfield Markanday, Fleck & McFadzean v Connor Mahoney & Rakeem Harper - Chesterfield v Barrow Dack & Cirino - Accrington v Gillingham Jack Payne v Smallwood & "fans favourite" Jason Lowe - Colchester v Tranmere Matty Platt - Newport v Notts County James Connolly - Salford v Crewe Callum Wright - Wigan v Northampton Gent & Nathan Willis - Plymouth v Barnsley Gilsenan & Sam Laville - Grimsby v Crawley - apparently Gilsenan has a knock Harry Chapman - Barnet v Fleetwood Butterworth - Walsall v Swindon Callum Hendry - MK Dons v Oldham 12 noon Tomorrow Edun v Cozier-Dubbery - Stockport v Bolton
  10. Three of our released U21s have now found new teams in the National League North (6th tier) Lewis Bell moved to Marine after a loan spell there last season Rhys Doherty is now at Kings Lynn Town Paul Murphy-Worrell has moved to Southport, which seems an odd one as they already have Dan Pike at right back Adam Caddick is now at Warrington Rylands in the 7th tier
  11. Sometimes it doesn't even need "decent cash" to be on offer
  12. U21s are playing Ashton Utd at 1pm this afternoon. Jordan Eastham could play against us after signing permanently for them in the summer
  13. Wrexham is closer to his family apparently 😉
  14. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce92zk757vlo
  15. Main issue Wrexham may find is actually bedding everyone in. Might take them a few months to get them firing. Their squad from last season isn't too dissimilar from the one that Rovers smashed in the cup a couple of years back, obviously they have/are signing quality players, with experience, but it seems a but late in the window for them to mount a real charge at the top end of the table Think they will end up in the top 8 or 10
  16. Cant see a vast amount of resale value there either 😉
  17. What a terrible lack of vision from Wrexham! How on earth are they expecting to develop him and then sell him on to someone higher up the food chain for a profit whilst furiously doggy paddling to keep their heads above water in the lower reaches of the division
  18. May as well as have our captain take a dump or the boots of his opposite number whilst we are at it 😉
  19. He is not at the level of a fully fit Pereira (assuming gets back to his previous levels), & James Justin & Van Ewijk are on at least a similar level to Brittain. But he is right up there
  20. Especially if he is planning to return to Norway,
  21. You might be right now I look again, edited my previous post as to not dash any more hopes
