This is a complete guess, but was Silvesters "good prior work" and record before the EFL changed how transfers were registered from the old school way (faxes etc) to the new online system? I genuinely do not know, but maybe Silvester did not get to grips with the new system? Edit - According to this article, faxes were still being used in 2015, but had stopped being used by 2023 (although the article does not state exactly when this change happened). If the change was 2023 that would tally up perfectly with the issues we have had

Will stick my neck out on this now, Eustace at Birmingham and Kidderminster has always gone with a 4-2-3-1 when he gets a summer window to do what he wants with the playing squad and make it "his". with the back 5 as a back up for tougher games. I see no reason why that will change.

He has the feel of one of those players who will sign for someone this summer on a free, have a stellar season, move next summer for big money, and then never get more than 5 goals in a season again for the rest of his career

He is also going to be at the Peterborough vs Oxford game tonight. Assume with Peterborough being one of his former clubs, the League one play offs are of interest to him.
