Last summers question of if Sigurdsson's registration was converted from ESC to GBE (or if the club were aware that this could be done) has finally been answered "There have also been other players brought in on an ESC slot and converted. Arne Sigurdsson initially for his loan transfer again we were able to successfully convert him because he played enough first team minutes I assume that we can therefore presume that Ohashi's registration will also be switched over this summer ""Yuki works because he was a regular player in the first team he played over 50% of minutes during his first season which meant that Blackburn were able to say to the FA well he's played this percentage of minutes, therefore, we can convert him to a full GBE."

He is on the bench for Hungary tonight against JDTs Sweden (Ayari starting for Sweden) Hopefully since it is just a friendly he gets his first cap in the 2nd half. Seeing as their other 2 keepers are both 34, they surely have to think about giving him a go at some point?

He has been a Japan International for about 6 months now

Japan had already qualified and picked an experimental squad to give fringe players a chance

Carrick potted by Boro Quite rightly in my opinion, should have done much better with what he had available to him -

More of a recap than a story, but confirmation that its all about increasing value (selling players) rather than any sort of building exercise Rudy Gestede, wants to offer even more minutes to those Under-23 in the Academy. "What we have seen in the last year, the minutes played by our Academy players has dropped drastically," he told The Lancashire Telegraph in April. "We used to be over 2,000 minutes for Under-23 Academy players. Last 12 months, 142 minutes. "That affects the value of the asset and we want to go back to that model. That was part of the discussions with Valerien. They have to be part of your squad planning and we will also go in the market for young players." -

Technically 1st June, (for 9 days) but seeing as it is effectively a registration window, not a transfer window, and we do not have any games to register players for, does it matter? Its not like teams cannot sign players anyway or announce signings -

I do not see us spending anywhere near £3M on any individual player, I am assuming we are interested because there is a low release clause which has become active due to their relegation (purely a guess re the clause, but it would make some sense) -

I've amended your quote I think that is more accurate. Rovers might get lucky, but the penny pinching will eventually catch up -

Stritch getting some undue "flack" (possibly not the right word) in my opinion. He has found the step up from U18s to U21 difficult so far (I suspect because he possibly had an overreliance on his strength at U18 level and needs to adjust), but he did only turn 19 six months ago. He is not exactly past it, and triggering an option to see if he manages to step up over the next year seems logical to me Wood makes a little less sense. Has looked good at U21 level, but given he will be 21 during the summer, and he hasn't made any real impression in numerous loans in men's teams, seems like we are maybe keeping hold of him for the sake of it. I would imagine that his option has been triggered to give one last chance/loan to see if he can step up -

I was being as nice as my I could possibly be. Believe me, I held back -
I think it says more about the intellect of those who employed him or put their trust in him than anything else Personally I find him more lazy rather than thick, He has been happy to coast along, whilst doing the minimum possible for the past 7 years whilst getting paid for it. But I couldn't find a meme for that, so I made do with what was there

I wonder if that is a typo/missing word, the way the rest of the sentence is worded, It maybe should say "However, their interest has not developed beyond the initial inquiry stage." Would make more sense, grammatically speaking -

I find him to be one of the most annoying, and ill informed people I have ever seen on youtube.... which is really saying something Just regurgitates clickbait news articles whilst offering no insight and nothing of value -
No worries, It might just be that Eze has only been at Rovers since November as to why you have not heard much about him

and then it will be Forshaw signing up for another year 😉 -
I did mean to put getting lucky in quotation marks, which I have now done I would hazard a guess that Boro keep their youngsters for longer periods because their youngsters know that if they break through that they will be paid a decent wage for a couple of years until they are sold off, whereas at Rovers, they will be lowballed until they are shunted out of the door. Completely agree that the system is broken, as I stated yesterday, but Rovers (as well as every other club) also take advantage of it when they can
