  1. https://sqaf.club/amortisation-football/ The link above on amortisation explains how this is done, but the overly simple way of looking at things is fees received from selling players are counted on the current years accounts (minus his "book value"), but fees spent on new players are split over the length of a players contract (up to a maximum of 5 years). So if a club sells a forward for £20M, they can technically buy a dozen new players for a combined £100M all on 5 year contracts and remain FFP compliant at least for the first season (they may have issues for each subsequent season as they have to find £20M income to offset against the £20M/year spend that they are already committed to on top of whatever they spend going forwards)
  2. It has certainly looked more like a 4-3-3 than a 4-2-3-1, the extra man, and getting Adam Wharton on the ball will hopefully mean we don't get overrun in central midfield areas this season, and Szmodics can still break forwards
  3. I just had to google that because I thought you were extracting the urine, lol Seems they were discontinued before I was on solid foods
  4. No such thing as off topic on this thread 😉 YES, especially pickled onion flavour Have they shrunk though or have I just grown?
  5. Award for most angry post ever written about a bread related product I love it!
  6. Still seems strange, I understand after his Man Utd experience why he would not want to be a squad player at a top English club again, but surely could have got himself a Champions League club (where he would be in the first 11) in Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Germany etc, Turkey is a few rungs down from those. He may as well have moved to the old firm albeit he will have much nicer weather in Istanbul
  7. Did he like Nathan fat arse Blake?
  8. How should you cook each particular cut of steak? Fillet - blue - all other answers for fillet steak are not just wrong, but also sacrilege
  9. As a student I used to make pizza toasties, cheese, tomato puree spread over the inside of one slice pf bread, little bit of garlic puree, and then very finely chop whatever you like in them, I was a skint student so onion, green peppers and mushroom did the trick Could feed the whole house with a loaf of tesco value bread and very minimal ingredients
  10. Both of those sound oddly brilliant! May try the crumpet pizza, but all pizzas need a tomato base, I recon a thin spread of tomato puree would work
  11. They remind me of Nottingham Forest, and Nottingham Forest remind me of Boglins (Steve Cooper)
  12. I tried her panna cotta from Tesco once, would never trust her after that, it was awful!
