  1. That forum topic gave provides a great read, levels of delusion and naivety so high that my sides hurt from laughing They are all very excited having seen his highlight reel on youtube, and are completely discounting that those 40 odd goals took him years to score
  2. Can this not be the last word on Gally? https://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/313690/confirmed-gallagher-signs-year-deal?page=29 "What I picked up most from that. He’s got abit of the Doiufs about him. Always in the right place for a rebound tap in. Or a near post header" Just LOL
  3. Rovers got off pretty lightly compared to most
  4. If he makes a 2 goal striker out of Ennis, he has done very well
  5. A few see him as a genuine target man https://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/313690/confirmed-gallagher-signs-year-deal?page=23 They are in for such a surprise
  6. He does, maybe if they shift enough players (and wages) out, the plan is to increase his contract offer? And then panic when he rejects the increased offer πŸ˜‰
  7. Jack Vale Stokes awaits you Still awaiting the name change on Jalil Saadi NZonzi
  8. Eastham to Stoke for Β£1M? But no, they signed Johansen from Rotherham
  9. Apparently it is Jon the thief Walters doing Stokes buying
  10. If you fend off any interest we may have in Baker then than will be 3 that we owe you guys πŸ˜‰
  11. He played in 29 league games (more than 25% of games ,for 1456 mins ( 50% of the available mins would be 1305 mins) So he should qualify https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arnor-sigurdsson/leistungsdaten/spieler/377665/plus/0?saison=2023
  12. Is there any chance Siggy played enough last season to qualify for a standard work permit this year? It may be based on games he was available for, so his injuries may have done him a favour in that regard? Hoping you still have the criteria open to check because I am being lazy πŸ˜‰ Or yes, he may be sold, which given his wage and being in the last year of his contract, is more than possible
  13. Thanks for that πŸ™‚ One slot left then
  14. Pretty sure Gueye will get a work permit, has played recent years in the 2nd tier of Spain and top tier of Belgium (Kaminski got a work permit after playing less games at that level) Also pretty sure Ohashi and Mafoumbi will need to take up ESC slots Siggy is the one I genuinely have not idea about, as to if he took up a slot last year, and if he is still here will he still take up a slot this year. (he may have played enough games last season to qualify for a standard work permit if he didn't already have one) So by my reckoning, we either have 1 or 2 ESC slots left
  15. Maybe in the past, but I wouldn't trust his legs to play wide centre back now any more than Fadz
  16. left footed too, think you may have found the mystery player
  17. Does Zurab Khizaniskvilli have a left footed younger brother/son?
  18. But Waggott can save close to Β£15000/week by letting him leave early
  19. Vale is on a low wage and has a year option, so they may be tempted to keep hold as a squad filler whilst Leonard recovers and sell in January or next summer
  20. I do wonder if McFadzean and Batth coming in means Hyam is also on his way out. He is one of the highest Gent being "injured" and then sold also makes me think that Sigurdsson may also be on his way out (again, high earner, last year of contract, and injured at the weekend with no huge explanation a la Gent) Travis (another higher earner, albeit with 2 years left) has already been linked away too
  21. calm down, just teasing, You are obviously his biggest fan
