Even if true, with a director of football model, a change in head coach would not change the general playing style of the team or the transfer strategy to any great extent. Whilst the formation may change, They will still look for defenders (and goalkeepers) who can play it out from the back, pressing forwards, versatile players who can play multiple positions etc. Whether we like it or not, that is now Rovers playing identity, regardless of who the manager head coach is
