So if a club sells a forward for £20M, they can technically buy a dozen new players for a combined £100M all on 5 year contracts and remain FFP compliant at least for the first season (they may have issues for each subsequent season as they have to find £20M income to offset against the £20M/year spend that they are already committed to on top of whatever they spend going forwards)

It has certainly looked more like a 4-3-3 than a 4-2-3-1, the extra man, and getting Adam Wharton on the ball will hopefully mean we don't get overrun in central midfield areas this season, and Szmodics can still break forwards

Still seems strange, I understand after his Man Utd experience why he would not want to be a squad player at a top English club again, but surely could have got himself a Champions League club (where he would be in the first 11) in Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Germany etc, Turkey is a few rungs down from those.
