  1. Apparently his nickname from Japanese football, Not sure if this is anything to do with it but a google search says it is some anime "fox spirit" thing apparently
  2. The Millwall example that you gave was when JRC was playing in a central midfield role, Hill played right back, and Brittain right wing in that game (all 3 were involved in the build up). Incidentally this was the point last season when I felt JRC looked at his best playing for a prolonged period centrally
  3. Cant stand "Mrs Browns Boys". The Book of Mormon is written by the guys who created South Park, so that is probably the easiest link to make in terms of style/humour
  4. As well as terms like "top draw" (as an article headline no less!), "chomping at the bit" (in the very recent past) etc Very poor. Do journalists not have to have some command of the English language these days?
  5. Having seen the Book of Mormon, that is hilarious. I cannot wait to see the remake where the missionaries travel to Dingleland rather than Uganda
  6. We could maybe argue that JRCs brief cameo last season as a centre back in a 3 just before JDTs departure would indicate that he may be able to play the Pickering/Carter full back role (albeit this was a very small sample size). But that aside, I completely agree. JRC is definitely not suited to the Brittain/Beck role. I hope that he does manage to find himself a role in this team as he is a very good player when on song.
  7. Not as good 😉 but before that, normally missed less than 10 each year (not sure if that was because of injury/suspension or just not being selected), but still not exactly missing a lot. He has had one "bad" season with injuries (his first with Rovers), which I think clouds our minds as to his fitness just a little
  8. Missed 2 games last season
  9. They are both right backs. Not that Robertson & Tsimikas isn't also a hard proposition for him to edge his way in front of
  10. whilst a variety of injury and illness means Pickering, Callum Brittain and Arnor Sigurdsson all miss out.
  11. Dan Shaw from 30 yards with the winner on his debut
  12. Its working now, just after I bought a pass from Bristol 😞
  13. roverstvsupport@streamamg.com If it is a "technical issue"
  14. That's what I mean, inverted full back moves to centre back, whist JRC was more an inverted wing back (as opposed to full back) under JDT moving into central midfield roles
  15. Would imagine Carter doing the inverted full back job that Pickering normally would, Beck the wing back, and that the left sided player in the 3 behind Ohashi (presumably Baker) will tuck inside as a second number 10 with Hedges playing wider or the right
  16. Is anyone else having issues with the match centre not being there on Rovers website for Rovers TV?
  17. O'Riordan came off the bench early in the first half as Cambridge lost 2-1 in an early kick off Starts today for Garrett lost 4-0 Markanday lost 1-0 Batty lost 1-0 Wood drew 1-1 Atcheson & Montgomery (former Rovers U21 Chanka Zimba also playing for Marine) Lost 3-2 Eastham - won 2-1 On the bench Vale - Came off the bench as Motherwell lost 2-1 Gamble lost 3-0 Shaw - came off the bench to score the winner Cypriot teams (Saadi) kick off at 5pm (not sure if that is our time or their time) Saadi is on the bench - edit - they lost 3-2
  18. U18s won 2-0 away at Liverpool, Shorrocks & Joseph
  19. Goddard not in the squad for Dundalk tonight. He has been their first choice since he signed and there is no mention of why he is not involved, so may be injured, dropped, or it may have something to do with Dundalk's financial situation?
