Blackburn v Doncaster, FA Cup, Sat 9th Jan

His positioning had been poor on many occasions in his 3 apps. Spotted it several times today and of course during his debut. Crap goalie. -

Nevertheless I've never seen such an incompetent display in the 2 games I've seen him referee. Shambles. -

This ref is an embarrassment to the game with blatent bias shown in the Luton game and now this. I can't believe this won't be looked into, it's blatant. Ref really is an absolute wanker. -

Stoke City v Rovers (a) Sat. 19th Dec. 3pm

Personally I am surprised to see Johnson at Cb instead of Nyambe, but then we're also short of options at Rb. I can't call this one. I felt we've started this season very well without just reward. However, the longer that has gone on the more I have doubted our bad luck and considered it to be a systematic lack of quality or concentration when required. The midweek game was a killer, I saw no hope in how we played so couldn't even say we were unlucky anymore. But we won, and win today and things look up again. Coyb!!! -

Rothwell doesn't deserve to be dropped on merit but it's a long season and he'll be great off the bench. Shame for Wharton to be out through injury, but a chance for Ayala to show us what he is about. All in all, strong lineup and looking forward to the match. -

Never been so livid with a "referee" in my life. Shameful. What's his name? Edit: Gavin Ward. Hope he's not reffing another of our games again this season. -
Yeah when I saw he was starting I instantly felt we had more of a chance. Great to have that feeling about a gk which I haven't had for a while. His composure has been excellent so far and he oozes confidence.

Rovers v QPR Sat 7th November

I hope that's not the good news team? No predictions today. Such promise at the start of the season has evaporated for many reasons. I hope we can find a way to get 3 points and use the international break to get back on track. We have the players, but it's not happening so far. -
Rovers vs Reading at Virtual Ewood

JRC has a place in this side but not at right back. He played some great balls in so maybe the right side of the front three? Lenihan needs some time out, no doubt about it. Inept today and streaky at the best of times. We definitely missed Kaminski, Pears was positionally at fault for the first goal but did make a great reflex save off of Williams. Mowbray needs to look at sorting this defence out, quickly. We're playing the best football I've seen us play in a long time, but we look so exposed at the back it's all for nowt. -

Which one? I'm opting for skybet today and have nothing yet. -

I'm done with Evans. Very disappointed to see him starting. Great if he proves me wrong today but after several seasons I've made my mind up. Hope we get a result despite his inclusion which I feel will be detrimental to our midfield performance. -
Agreed. His talent was clear to see yesterday. First time I've properly watched him play and glad the quality seems to match the hype around him. Seems to be able to both dribble well and make intelligent passes which is a dangerous combo. I wonder if he could also play in the midfield 3 for certain games - on first sight he could well do the job Rothwell does when needed.

Ridiculous game. We could have scored a hatful, but we didn't and we are way too easily exposed at the back. Evans can do one and Bell is not a championship left back. So frustrating, for me we've played well generally but some of our defending has been shocking. One chance is all you need against this side at the moment. I do feel if we scored first the game could have been different but we're incredibly fragile. -

Holtby back is a big plus. Rothwell is a big miss still, at the exact time he begins to prove his worth. Evans should not start after his efforts over the weekend. I'd stick with Dolan and drop Brereton if Elliot is deemed ready. I hope we bounce back after a couple of disappointing performances. In theory this kind of game should suit us, but the quality of Watford could kill us. I predict similar to Bournemouth 3-2 either way, just hope it's for Rovers. -

Best we could realistically put out. Glad Dolan is starting and Gallagher is on the bench, I was worried it might be the other way round. Coyb!!! -
Best transfer window in years if we get the lb and cm in.
-
Won't be surprised if we're getting someone in from Leicester. I'm sure Rogers was suitably impressed with our approach during our pre-season friendly.
-
Big fan of our business this summer, as long as we find a solution to LB (despite Bell suddenly looking decent).

Solid half with both sides having their moments. We definitely looked the better side come the end of the half. Dolan growing into the game, Kaminski keeping us in it with a great first half performance, Ayala has been okay nothing more or less so far, Williams has been brilliant. Keep going the way we ended the half and we can win this, fancy cunningham to see red. -

I took Rovers to win the league and Armstrong top scorer at 80/1 this morning. Merlot on me come May lads. -
I know Jones is pie in the sky but I wouldn't want any overpaid egos in the squad and after x amount of years at manure he will inevitably fall into that bracket. I like our team.
