has anyone thought that venkys have cut the wage bill massively over the years downsized the commercial dept cut back on site maintence don`t spend much money on players are they really putting 20 million a year in when they have reduced the cost of running the club,i don`t they are,it`s just a figure put out by swag and the rest of the detritus

i think you could be correct😥there will be more outgoings than incomings by 1st feb and there will be an undoubted firesale for the remaining players of value in the summer

when we were seriously skint pre jack we did`nt have any problems signing players on a really tight budget,probably because we had competent people around the club and various contacts around the britain and ireland,strikes me that broughton and kimberley (the apparent head of recruitement) are either completely useless,out of their depth or just here for the wages,take your pick but to me both of them don`t serve any purpose

we`de be better looking for players from our own lower leagues imo

you are right,rovers was run very well,while pne,bolton and burnley were languishing in the bottom division,we were more often than not in the top half of the 2nd division on buttons,i certainly enjoyed it more then than i have done for the last 13 years
