  1. his lack of movement and generally demeanour was terrible,id`e have been running round like a maniac if id`e been given a chance of first team football
  2. got a natural instinct in the penalty box but needs to work on his hold up play,i`de have no concern on him starting,he`s likely to score goals, given the service, which is what we lack the other two, vale and butterworth, vale has`nt featured at all for lincoln and butterworth has only made 3 appearances for carlisle, which vindicates what most people said, neither of them are good enough
  3. id`e rather watch songs of praise than international football,it`s s**t,to many pointless qualifiers and to many pointless teams that should be forced to pre qualify to get in the qualifiers!!
  4. serginho,he was only in because careca got injured and roberto dinamate was also injured, yes,he was ****** useless!!!!!!!!
  5. at least anyone of a certain age can remember fondly those big matches, standing on a packed terrace, watching through pouring rain, endless chanting and shouting, two sides going at it full on,hard but fair and a ref who let the game flow and going absolutely mental when we scored😊
  6. the 2nd striker is usually the creative one who also can also fill in midfield when under the cosh, when the game is going your way or pretty even then he slots back in attack, having two strikers is a no brainer imo, imagine how many goals jordan rhodes or gestede would have got if dack had been around to partner one of them,i always thought dunny was prime for that role as well, though souness obviously disagreed!!!
  7. im`e all for that,if you are getting overrun then have the second striker drop back into midfield,it`s simple and effective, football is supposed to be simple game is`nt it
  8. best game ever imo, made all the more tragic as the brazilians only had to draw to go through, their have been some fantastic brazilian teams through the years but none of them matched that side,i cried when gentile and his feral team mates triumphed, football was never the same after that
  9. he played 1 game for garforth town at aged 54,a couple of years before his untimely demise😥,zico, eder, falcao and socrates, the holy quartet
  10. routine win for us on saturday,i`me going for a 2-0 triumph over the welsh miscreants
  11. i wonder how long it will be before a coach looks at the stats and finds out how many goals are given away by clumsy centre backs trying to pass it out from the back,i suggest it`s already a lot,the next manager who decides to lump it out from the back,he`ll become the new "game changer"😃
  12. stephen about to be captured and banged up🙂
  13. with the state of neville`s business dealings, they are probably living in a council flat in collyhurst😁
  14. hard to believe there is a credit crunch when you see wembley and twickenham full, definately not cheap to watch the football or rugby and thats not just tickets
  15. he was a bang average player,a poor club manager and he`s a national manager who got the job because he`s a yes man, keeps picking players who don`t play for their clubs because he`s to scared to pick all his attacking players, with the ammunition we have i make us favourites for next years euros and possibly the next world cup, with southgate in charge it definately will not happen
  16. this is getting me excited, for the first time in 13 years i can finally see a future without the jackboot of indian incompetence
  17. probably was`nt impressed with kenny and his training methods, had no chance of starting and was there to make up the numbers, hence he decided he would be better off back home with the family to enjoy the rest of his week off
  18. 1982 spain side was very good,we should have done much better than coming home without losing!!!!!!!greenwood, like southgate was allergic to taking risks,if clough had been in charge of that side we could have been potential finalists, especially as italy literally kicked the greatest brazil side since 1970 out in the group stages spain 1982 best world cup ever imo
  19. the rovers fans could see he had some ability and were willing him to show it,mowbray should have sent him on loan when he first signed him because he was`nt ready for the grind of the championship
  20. maybe the proverbial is going to hit the fan and venkys stop funding us,pending they are ******* off and leaving us to manage on our own, which is fine by me,i`ll take whatever as long as we are free
  21. jeez, they try the same approach every autumn and winter, the epitome of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again in the hope that it will somehow work, looking at rovers long term is actually very scary, there is`nt one unless we rid ourselves of the indians and swag, maybe they`ll all get put in jail over their alleged fraud or their accountant insists they offload rovers, their profits fell a lot in the last quarter so lets hope they are in a bit of financial strife
  22. push brittain further up the flank and play jimmy hill at right back, brittain is better going forwards and jimmy is a better defender, simples innit
  23. he certainly is`nt going to get that in spain😀he`ll be back in england by the start of next season
  24. buckley has been playing in a 4/3/3 on the left or right side of attack(not his position) could change as wednesday are looking for a new manager,he has`nt made any impression at all tbh,id`e recall him in january if it continues bbd is struggling badly at villarreal,he`s now playing at a much higher level and looks lost in all honesty,i don`t think he`s got the skills to adjust to spanish football, his first touch was always terrible
