  1. i thought he was a good signing last year, unfortunately he`s well past it and continually unfit i think
  2. would have played wharton instead of williams, otherwise pretty much what we all expected
  3. whatever the formation and selection,i think we`ll start brightly, look good but then fold when bournemouth get into their stride and put some pressure on,story of the mowbray regime innit
  4. he`s not interested in even trying for the play offs,it`s to much hassle for him,all tony wants is a comfy existance till he`s ready to call it a day, quite content to have us sitting in mid table, half his playing staff have got the same idea,if the miracle did happen and we get promoted they`de all be looking for new clubs,it`s not in their interest is it,apart from dack, travis, lenihan and armstrong, the rest of them are devoid of any ambition, you can see it in their efforts on a match day, scared to get stuck in and battle
  5. why the **** is everyone picking up decent free transfers apart from us?
  6. he can`t be any worse than walton, that is impossible,i think he`ll be a shouting type of goalkeeper who berates everyone in the box, falls out with mowbray who then picks fisher for the next game, stating "kaminski is`nt ready,he needs to learn how we operate round here!!!!!!!!!!"fisher turns out to be an unmitigated disaster but keeps his place,so in turn we have walton replaced by a walton clone, but he`s a nice lad and thats all that matters
  7. was the fag end of a once very good mackay side, injuries and ageing players caught up with us that season, the young players brought in from the youth team, collier, skinner and shepstone were never going to be good enough,if jack had`nt come along then i think we`de have been in serious trouble the following season, though mackay was a pretty good wheeler dealer, maybe he`d have snaffled a few bargains and rebuilt
  8. there should be no debate about bell playing any games,he`s out of his depth at this level, how in the world the manager and coaching staff can`t see it is beyond comprehension
  9. remember thinking at the time, where has all this money come from, has bill fox gone mad,(he was`nt known signing to many cheques on players!),little did we know jack was giving us some loose change from his wallet before he finally decided to buy the club
  10. it`s not a question of becoming big and strong,it`s about learning to look after yourself and getting to grips with becoming harder to knock off the ball, being loaned to preston helped beckham come to terms with the ugly side of the game ,he came back to utd a changed player physically, buckley at the moment is`nt ready for 1st team action imo,he is far to lightweight
  11. it`s all about the clique with tony,if any prospective signing shows attitude, spirit or a bit of bedevilment in their meeting he sees them out the door faster than a jehovas witness
  12. As far as I’m aware, the real hold up comes from Suhail. He’s the one that the Ewood staff think is responsible for things going to shit. The policy seems to be Venus identifies targets, Mowbray puts them to Waggot (affectionally known as Swag internally), Swag does the negotiation then refers it up to Suhail. Theoretically all that work can be done and then it can be kiboshed at the top. It shouldn’t get to that level and then have anything but an approval. no self respecting manager can or would operate under those conditions,to me it`s further proof that mowbray does`nt give a hoot and is topping up his pension,if he had anything left in the managerial locker he`d walk away from the situation, mind you he did get the go ahead to blow 12 million quid where it was`nt needed, maybe suhail is`nt so keen on wasting another load of cash and is keeping the vault locked up
  13. and seven million for a fragile,so called centre forward who can`t do anything,iv`e given up on waggot and mowbray, they don`t exist in my world anymore
  14. with the wisdom of ben benson kaminski will be ousting courtois from the no 1 jersey very soon
  15. lol that can`t be true surely, mind you,we don`t know if he`s any good because he never gets a game
  16. a bag of sasparella tablets and some pickled onion monster munch
  17. when garner smashed in that volley i was right at the back of the blackburn end with mates but finished halfway down terrace pinned to a crush barrier?only thing i can say about the end is jimmy hill was a **** for blaming that ballgirl?
  18. agree,he should flash his knickers at mowbray
  19. the big mistake is shuffling him around, give him one position and see how he does though i i also don`t know what you can do with him, rothwell is the same, the biggest **** up of all though was signing both of them without knowing what they offer, the recruitment side of our club is a joke tbh,it looks to me like they don`t have any active scouts and agents are sending tony videos from which he decides on who to sign
  20. tony is highly likely to set up a defensive formation for bournemouth, ironic when we`ve got a **** left back ,a couple of inexperienced centre backs and a goalkeeper who will have had 5 days with his team mates?,that said i`ve got a feeling we`ll snatch a victory
  21. not sure that he can`t head the ball, from what iv`e seen he can`t jump and get up for it,in any form of competetive football thats a serious handicap for a centre back, wharton can`t pass water but he certainly can get up to head a ball
  22. i was there, terrible performance that was so bad the blackburn end started cheering for oxford, apparently also the match where jack walker started serious intentions to buy the club
  23. will ted mcdougall be playing?
  24. bournemouth 0-3 rovers brereton starts to fulfil his potential when he smashes in a hatrick, right foot, left foot and towering header☺️
