We have lots of decent CM's capable of good performances, but not one (except Travis) who is capable of consistently playing well, it would seem.

The manager is certainly an issue, he doesn't inspire. What he has done is brought in match-winners - Dack, Elliott and Arma (possibly BB) can all win matches on their own. The rest of the squad I'm not sure about. We seem to have a rag-tag of a midfield with lots of options but nobody capable of stringing more than a couple of good performances together. The defence has glaring weaknesses too. That's possibly why we struggle against the better teams who can expose those weaknesses more than, say, Rotherham with their collection of League 1 journeymen.

I think the only difference this season is we are winning games we shouldn't be. I'm not sure that has happened much over the last 2 seasons. Still it's a team above us next and we all know what happens then...

Dack, BB and Travis get better by the week. We'll see how good we are when they are back and firing. I can't wait to see how Dack and Elliott link up.
