  1. West Ham and Bolton fans would probably disagree.
  2. Yeah, defo managers out there that could potentially do better with what we've got. Like everyone else though I'd imagine, I have no faith Venky's would appoint them.
  3. Generally you need a good home record if you're going to challenge the top 6. We've only won 4 out of 9 so far this season. That needs to improve, starting tonight. Nothing less than a Mercer-ful 3-0 win will be acceptable. Show no Mercer!
  4. Are they wages? Skewed somewhat by the fact that a lot of those clubs will have Prem wages on their books. If only we could get the same VFM as Barnsley, currently riding high. 😉
  5. He's right. In their last 8 home games BCFC have only beaten us and Derby, both 1-0. That's how good they are at home.
  6. Blackburn Rovers' secret weapon that could prove decisive for a successful season - LancsLive
  7. It's upsetting to keep seeing the name Keane, no matter how it's spelt!
  8. Ooh Darragh, love your new hair cut. Oh Tosin, shurrup!
  9. Dack is due back around the start of the new year. He's only just started full training with the rest of the team. He's bound to gave a few niggles after a year out. Not sure Shearer was ever only 'half the player' after his injuries. It must have been his good half because he was still incredible.
  10. Off the top of my head I have no idea and I'm also too idle to check, but it's a good question.
  11. Exactly, and nobody ever called Warnock a nice guy!
  12. If 'Bookies Love My Hubby' ever appears, tell her to lump on.😉
  13. Disagree. I see a team that works hard for each other on the pitch. Not sure the relevance of Snapchat to that?? Championship Team Statistics | WhoScored.com We've made more tackles that Rotherham,Bristol C and Norwich this season. We've also attempted more tackles than the latter two teams and the same number as Bristol C. Norwich have made the least interceptions in the league. If you've got the stats for distance travelled by each player, and compare it to other teams, that would be interesting to see? It might prove your point.
  14. Of course it's my opinion. But it's also back up with what I see. Are you saying they don't work hard for each other? And 'lacking winners with fire in their bellies' has nothing to do with work rate. You seem to be discussing a different point to the one I made. I was referring to the point the Forest lad made about his teammates lack of effort. Apologies if that wasn't clear.
  15. They wouldn't. They suggest a team mate that lacks a Plan B, not a team that doesn't work for each other.
  16. As in they work hard for each other, in total contrast to what the Forest player says about his teammates.
  17. We certainly should be beating them. They've lost their last 6 away and their only victory on the road was against Wycombe.
  18. Always worth remembering this kind of stuff when the 'Mowbray Out' chat starts. The attitude of the Rovers players has never been in doubt under Mowbray and they seem to have a genuine bond.
  19. I've never understood the 'nice guy Tony' stuff. He's very quick to blame the players whenever we go on a run of bad results. After 3+ years it's become very transparent.
  20. Damning stats courtesy of Sharpe:- Against teams above them: P10 W0 D4 L6 F9 A18 Pts: 4/30 Against teams below them: P8 W7 D0 L1 F23 A4 Pts: 21/24

  22. Did Butterworth play? Any good if so?
  23. What's your prediction? We probably should be getting a minimum of 10 pts if we have designs on the play-offs. My guess is we'll get 8. Rotherham (H) - Win Stoke (A) - Lose Sheff Wed (H) - Win Huddersfield (A) Draw Birmingham (A) Draw
  24. The 4 remaining games in December are all very winnable, starting with this one. Stoke is potentially the toughest but Rotherham, SWFC and Huddersfield are all below us in the league. Huge opportunity (again!) before the new year to get in and around the top 6.
