That isn't his fault or the fans fault, again it comes back to the club and the owners. It's hard for anyone to have confidence in any target or decision they make because of the way it is being ran. Naturally you would expect signings in our circumstances to have less of an impact than ones at well run, well scouted and well funded clubs. The reality is they aren't doing enough in the window, they haven't for years and the reaction to this signing is just collateral damage. The first game is 3 weeks away. Incredible we haven’t signed a player. When we needed 6 or 7. We had squad size issues last season even with a bunch of loans. We also had (and still have) some really poor players in the first team squad. It’s total negligence from the owners. We had Adam Wharton playing passes half the squad couldn’t even see, for half the season. His money simply had to be reinvested in quality players to stand any chance. Who would you rather do business with, Blackburn Rovers... or ANY other football club you can find?
