  1. The lack of money being spent and ambition shown is absolutely tragic.
  2. and my point is, if you were to expect anything different this window you might be proved right but you would not be basing those expectations on any facts.
  3. As I've pointed out elsewhere... We've received £37.4m through player sales in a short space of time and are spending spending approx £1.1m per window on incomings. That isn't acceptable for this level and in theory you should be battling to stay up each year. We are 6th largely thanks to the manager and managers are getting let down window after window by the owners.
  4. What true football ownership should look like.
  5. Until there's an owner willing to sit in that seat wearing a scarf, watching their millions spent on a player in hope potentially go down the drain, things will never change... the club is owned by disinterested scum. That is a fact. They will never prove me wrong.
  6. £2.5m is hardly breaking the bank. Fan expectations have been dumbed down by corrupt, uninterested owners.
  7. Fleck 2.0. Embarrassing. Pulling the wool over naive fans minds. If you don't think Venky's are anything but scum by now then... you're a fucking idiot
  8. If we did, they'd sell him off to keep the lights on and pocket the leftovers 👍
  9. We're watching largely free transfers or academy players, either start or come off the bench and expecting to win games. Even Tronstad was a free, Weimann, Batth, Dolan, Hedges (borderline free), Forshaw, Buckley, Leonard then Dubbery and Beck (neither ours). There's no investment happening in this team and until there is we'll always keep up the win loss win loss form and never get the playoffs. The owner's are hardly spending a penny on players. The manager however's doing a superb job. VENKY'S OUT!
  10. Personally I'd just use the Gallagher and Ennis money....... then spend the Szmodics..... Raya and Wharton money on some others that are even better........... Oh Venky's.... of course. Forgot. 👀
  11. "Dolan 5 ineffectual, too many pointless pirouettes on the ball that led to him loosing the ball" Why oh why does he do it. It often feels like he's playing for some kind of miniature highlight reel. It's bad really bad. He should sign the deal and concentrate on becoming a better footballer. We gave him an opportunity at a level no one else would have. A top performance by the team from 60 minutes onwards. Thought Brittain was outstanding throughout.
  12. Yep. None are better than what we have. I doubt either will start and why would they? We haven't improved the starting 11. Zero money spent as per... Good luck to the underfunded starting 11 tonight.
  13. Sunderland going for it hard, whereas Waggott and our owners are probably hoping we lose the next two just to ease any pressure on them spending. 😂
  14. A January 15th fixture, mid way through the transfer window. A game I still expect will be played predominately without the help of any new signings. Not one player signed yet to improve the starting 11. No one must have told our billionaire owners we are just outside the playoffs or perhaps they are largely still uncontactable.
  15. I doubt we need to worry about registration places. The focus should purely be on why the owners aren't spending money on players and if they have taken the club as far as they can take it then for them to sell it.
  16. But realistically we aren't in a position to turn down players like that... or sign them!
  17. I can understand the hesitation with Brereton since we saw so many years of him being poor
  18. It meant Ipswich deemed themselves to have at least 2 starting central midfielders better than our captain. People need to realise we need better players in a lot of positions, it costs money and we have generated that money but it is not being reinvested in players.
  19. If you're in a position where you think you might get promoted your loan signings are equally vital if not more so due to the limited space - and the potential to sign better than what you could afford to buy. I've no doubt Sanderson might be good cover and work well with Eustace but it isn't the kind of signing you make if you're serious about achieving something. You look at adding better than what you have in all positions, that's how cutthroat going for the Premier League is, it means we should be looking for all players to be an improvement on the starting 11. This signing further points me towards absolutely no serious amount of funds being made available either for top quality loans or permanent signings. Are there any funds is the question reporters SHOULD be asking? Again we haven't spent a permanent fee on a decent starting XI centre back since Hyam.
  20. Absolutely, Brentford were not doing this.
  21. You can make an educated guess on what's going on based on the past 5 - 6 transfer windows and that's the problem.
  22. So far it's starting to reek of a disorganised scouting department, incredibly no financial backing (AGAIN) and an overall lack of direction... Let's see what next week brings but 4 - 5 players are needed in this window and we shouldn't be scraping the barrel with them either.
  23. Ahh... you're supposed to do those kind of deals on deadline day and then conveniently f*ck it up. What are they thinking!
