  1. Pass. 15 strikes and you're out for me. Gave them plenty of chances and renewed each year. Enough is enough. Maybe the club could brand this season ticket campaign "150 strikes from us and you're out!"
  2. Fud. Ignore. He claimed there were 150 applicants. Total nonsense. Nixon stabs in the dark... Someone should remind him he suggested we offered a salary that wasn't enough for our 1st choice targets. If that article were true, the fans would be within rights to be upset and underwhelmed.
  3. It is fine. The start of the end that was needed IMO.
  4. One of the biggest issues is the fanbase pretending the above isn't happening.
  5. No but Waggott and Suhail got rid of him so it went out the window. Back to plodders having the full say, with no strategy designed to get results on the pitch. Only cost cutting, short term, line your own pockets planning.
  6. It appears we've hired a manger without any regard for his style of play. That is Waggott all over, zero football strategy behind his decisions. So far, although still early, it's been a complete disaster. Shame on the board!
  7. Not impressed by anything I've seen so far. The team's gone backwards.
  8. Completely agree, particularly when a formation has got them into such a good position, it would be natural to lack confidence in a new one. That change created a number of early mistakes, cost us a goal and ultimately threw another game away. The players do not look connected with the new manager and are IMO beaten. Waggott and the owners have hampered, derailed, whatever you want to call it YET ANOTHER season through more incompetence off the field. The major concern now is we appear to have offered a 3 year contract to a manager who has come in and disrupted a very well organised side. Disorganised, badly executed tactics and a low budget can only equal one thing....... and it isn't a surprise promotion.
  9. I think the players are disinterested during and after January when they realise they've been over-performing and still don't get backed. Too many of them have been involved in this cycle with disinterested owners for a long time. The investment and strategy don't align in trying to seriously help the players get into the Premier League, whether they're 5th or 2nd they know it doesn't happen. That includes when it comes to finding the players a new head coach. Until there's a real significant investment in permanent players and not a fantasy PR one, the players will keep running out of inspiration and steam. By a real significant investment I mean a few million spent on a few key positions such as GK, ST, RW, LW, CM and CB we won't ever seriously stand a chance of getting into the Premier League. Not 600k spent on a winger from Serie B/C or 300k on Ryan Hedges.... As someone mentioned with Lewis Baker, cutting a corner on him in summer cost us, just like cutting corners on two keepers in the past 24 months did... It's a shame the entire fanbase can't see whats right under their noses and unite against a disingenuous board and uninterested owners. Even when season ticket sales fall to an all time low (and I think they will soon), would someone at the club be held accountable? Will anyone ask for more investment from the owners in players? I doubt it.
  10. Absolutely embarrassing. Not good enough from the players or the manager since he joined.
  11. The board and owners refusal to invest in known players for a fee. Let's stop pretending we don't know the answers to these things. A total lack of ambition and funding.
  12. Been way too easy all match for Stoke this Manager has got his setup completely wrong, really worrying from him.
  13. I always get the feeling after he has one nice effort not go in, that's his contribution for the night.
  14. Wages. If there's good competition for a signing we don't pay the wages needed.
  15. We look a team that already does not believe in their manager. What a sorry state of affairs this is.
  16. Yep, would you trust them in a play-off semi final let alone a final?
  17. It doesn't turn sadly, don't renew until they go, or if they make a genuine "significant investment" in players. There was a very deceitful early bird offer last season, engineered by Waggott to trap fans because they knew Eustace wasn't getting the budget he'd been promised. It worked because many trusted them to spend the Raya sell-on and some of the Wharton fee on players, however, we sleepwalked through the summer spending pennies and positioned ourselves as favourites in the media to go down because of it... There's no reason it'll be any different this time. Bridges have been burned between the club and likely thousands more season ticket holders, with the non-existent transfer budgets and an inability to keep hold of decent managers. The CEO, Directors and Owners have been given chance after chance to be honest and communicate with the fan base but they are incapable... They need starving out.
  18. Not pretend everything is fine at the club. Quite simple really.
  19. From a players perspective with this amount of disruption during what you would consider a successful season. Why wouldn’t you feel something is wrong? It’s largely unheard of. If your answer to that is, you wouldn’t, nothing is wrong Eustace was just a snake. Then you’re a deluded prat. The problem is a good chunk of our fanbase (the happy clappers) will fully be thinking that way. There’s a major IQ issue in football fanbases.
