  1. Enough to put people off going. Waggott back in action!
  2. We simply have to get some better wingers.
  3. 1 in 10+ isn't good enough for me but Dolan absolutely has poor crossing technique for what it's worth. You won't see a good cross often.
  4. The team is performing miracles with the lack of Wharton money reinvested (lets not forget that). Surely a £3m transfer budget should exist at this level without selling a player for £21m... 🤨 The squad still lacks pace and quality. I fear this fixture could be a game too far.
  5. Crossing from our wingers is terrible. The service from Dolan and Hedges has been appalling/ non existent all season. We need to bring in a wide attacker with pace and a decent delivery. Beck, Brittain and Cantwell are the only players in our team who can cross a ball. Pickering can but he can't beat the first man to get his cross in so it's a waste of time. I'd still like to see a bit more of Sigurdsson in games. He has good technique for this level.
  6. Sometimes if you aren't good enough it's best not to sign a new deal since it allows a club that wouldn't usually spend money on you to take a punt. That is what will happen here, the risk is you end up in League One and ability wise Dolan would not be out of place there. It's a risky move and I doubt he has the best advisors, looking at his friendship groups around the ground on a match day.
  7. I don't see him being used as a "squad man". I see him starting far too many games.
  8. I'll add... that was one of Pickering's best games in a long time.
  9. Every team in the Championship targets Pickering. He can't jump and is possibly the least mobile full back in the league? That is on the owners and their lack of funding, we've been too tight to sign a permanent upgrade for years now for him and Dolan; two players that wouldn't be out of place in League One. If you are still regularly starting Tyrhys Dolan in the Championship it means you didn't quite recruit well enough, despite Gueye and Ohashi. Separate note, the manager has got his starting XI wrong two games in a row now AND multiple changes should have been made at HT in both games. Poor.
  10. I can’t believe I’m having to pay to watch Tyrhys Dolan. Terrible player.
  11. Who is supposed to be providing service to the forwards from the right hand side, and who is supposed to be providing service to the forwards from the left? Carter and Dolan? Give it a rest. Dolan is extremely inconsistent and largely a liability on the ball that takes too many touches or doesn't connect cleanly. Carter is a CB. That aside they still should have done better tonight. Tronstad, Travis and about 9 others didn't play well.
  12. Rovers didn't fancy the rain tonight, or staying at the top of the Championship. A loss is fine but that was unacceptable and players need taking off quicker. It was clear from the start and major changes should have happened at half time.
  13. We absolutely rolled over for them here. Pathetic performance from the players... and the manager. 2 subs were needed at HT.
  14. The player was out of control in my opinion.
  15. We haven't spent as much as we probably could or should have but we've signed players in nearly all the positions we needed. Anyone on the fence about getting a season ticket, get one and lets get down to Ewood and see how high this team can finish. The atmosphere has been great so far this season and we all needed a boost player wise! Gueye, Ohashi, Cantwell, Dubbery 👌🏻
  16. Think he is joining Hull. (Doak that is)
  17. Generally we need a new centre back with pace regardless of the formation.
  18. Money? What money? Ipswich signed Szmodics for free, a gentleman's type agreement, and Wharton was signed on an instalment plan that meant the only benefitting party was Crystal Palace. It was one of those transfers where you sell a player for a large agreed fee but the selling club simply doesn't get anything, and you can't agree the same type of transfer with another club when buying a player either. We simply have to have received all the cash first, even though Palace ended up with A. Wharton without spending their cash first that's just how it is and I know what you're going to say next... what about the "David Raya" money, well that doesn't really count either, a £4m bonus cheque, double what has been spent so far this summer but the reality is he was sold in 2019, and since then we thought we'd bought a new team bus. Anyway please keep clapping away on Saturdays 👍🏻
  19. Cheap deal too... with too small a squad. Club is bonkers. Get it done and move on to the next!!
  20. Maybe they just don't give a shit about it and want Venky's to sell the club either way? It's just the latest load of nonsense for me, we've had plenty of it in 15 years. I don't follow the details of the court case because I know it is a complete and utter waste of time.
