You know your club is completely f*cked when your manager can essentially say whatever the hell he wants in an interview and still not get fired. I love JDT for sticking it to our incompetent owners and execs. Things are happening at this club that do not happen anywhere else; they are happening repeatedly with good managers... and bad ones. You'd think that alone would be enough for every fan to realise the owners need to go. No one can be measured properly until the club is ran properly, that starts at the very top and is influenced heavily by the CEO but even he isn't measured correctly - so you're f*cked before you've even started. Unfathomably it still needs spelling out for a lot of people... Venky's are the root cause of the problems at Blackburn Rovers.

The McGuire revelation is it for me, on so many levels. I've absolutely no interest in renewing my season ticket next year. Won't be giving a penny more till Venky's are gone, so suspect that's me done with the club for a very very long time.

There's cutting budgets for the right reasons and then there's cutting budgets because you have the wrong owners.

They are thick and missing the point. Don’t write the cheque if you can’t cash it. Literally in this case. Trust and credibility is everything. If what we’re hearing is true, it’s an unforgivable way to run a business. Where do Venky’s go from here. It certainly won’t be “up” in the world of football.
