  1. With Wharton and Carter out, we definitely need a CB in January - a loan would do for this. Without a doubt we should be looking at James Hill, he's played next to no football this season and was doing fantastic for us before he was recalled last Jan. A loan with an option to buy would be brilliant. We'd then need a winger and a striker. I bet we'll go back in for that Godo from Fulham. Would sooner see us sign Poku permanently, but just can't see that happening. Wouldn't be surprised to see us sign Ryo Germain, but hope we instead/also move for someone with a proven goal record in the Championship - like Oli McBurnie for example.
  2. We've had 3 solid wins on the bounce now, against top opposition - we've also looked the part in doing so. Hull have 7 losses and 3 draws in their last 10 league games, and don't have a manager. It would be the most Blackburn Rovers thing ever, for us to go and get absolutely b.... You know what, i'm not even gonna say it!
  3. Gonna go 0-2 Leeds. They're top of the league and in fantastic form, with bags of quality and pace. Think it'll be similar to the Sheff Utd game. Really hope i'm proven wrong though, obviously! One big positive about Eustace's Rovers, is the fact that we are indeed capable of pulling off surprise results against strong opposition.
  4. Expecting a classic midweek, on the road no-show - we'll play for a draw, but will quickly realise that we need to just heavily focus on damage limitation. A very comfortable 2-0 win for Boro.
  5. Can't see it happening, but good lord I wouldn't say no!
  6. The chances of us signing Poku, are about the same as us signing Doku... Zilch.
  7. It's currently ~4.15pm in Delhi right now, has there not been an update on this?
  8. I know it's just gonna get kicked down the road again... but does anyone have any idea what time they're supposed to have the hearing? Really hopeful that this goes ahead today, this is the only chance we have of getting these morons out of our Club.
  9. Cardiff away; long journey down, they're playing well, we can't score... we know how this goes. We desperately need a win, but it'll be an absolute no-show. 4-0 Cardiff.
  10. Is McFadzean fit? I'd definitely stick him in if we're playing a back 5. It's easy to sleep on him due to his age and lack of pace... but he brings leadership, organisation and stability to the back line. Was torn between Brittain and Duru at RWB; as much as Duru's pace would be benefit that slow back 3, I think Brittain's deliveries could be essential to getting anything from this game. Would like to see Toth play too, but Eustace just won't will he...
  11. Same as i'd go for! Regarding the 2nd CB option, would opt for Batth over Hyam atm; Not confident one bit though, feel like we'll get turned over again - 2-0 Plymouth.
  12. An interesting little snippet; this season, we've won all 4 of our home games and drawn all 3 of our away games. Does look to have draw written all over it this one, however Rovers have surpassed my expectations plenty of times already this season - let's hope they can nab all 3 points!
  13. Would go with the above; ACD and Gueye to start - think we'll need the pace of ACD, and Gueye's height and strength will come in handy. Cantwell of course deserves a start after the other day, would move Dolan to the left for this. The rest pick themselves! Gotta feeling this one could be a banana skin tbh, though i've thought this with some of our previous games too! Who knows, hopefully another win 🤞
  14. Can't say I have the most faith after yesterday's performance, we looked really bad going forward. Hope we can see Cozier-Duberry from the start, he looks lively... Hedges is just too hesitant and predictable at times.
  15. Agreed! Ohashi converts chances to goals, whereas Gueye does tend to miss a few. Can see us needing to defending a 1 goal lead, bringing Gueye on after 60 minutes to be an absolute nuisance would be brilliant if this does turn out to be the case - he'll frustrate and give their tiring defenders something to think about.
  16. Would like to see us line up like this; Pears should keep his spot for now, wouldn't chuck Toth in for this particular game. Back 4 got a clean sheet, and Tronstad and Travis are the first names on the sheet - so all keep their spots. Cantwell's flair could be the difference in a game like this, i'd move Dolan to the left to accommodate him in his favoured #10 role - though they could even switch at some point, since Cantwell can play on the left too. Cozier-Duberry looked lively when he came on, think there's an absolute player in there and would like to see him unleashed on the Nobbers. Ohashi has to keep his spot after a brace, his confidence will be sky high. Never confident of a win over Preston, they get very lucky against us it seems - can't see us losing though!
  17. Bristol City are a bit of a bogey team for us aren't they, not too confident here! Possible loss, but more than likely a draw i'd say. If we do manage to get a win, however, it'd most certainly be a sign that things are really starting to look up.
  18. Really hope we get one of those unreported, surprise signings that nobody has heard of before. Was really nice finding out that we signed Telalovic then rapidly researching who he is etc. I mean, he was dog shit, but still...
  19. It probably was - it'll be big Swaggott trying to move the goalposts.
  20. Agreed. Would happily take a striker on loan... Then a permanent left-wing signing.
  21. Godo will probably sign an extension at Fulham before joining us on loan. Some Clubs actually have smart people running the show.
  22. I know right, not like them is it bud!
