Ismael said he wanted to keep Britain but the club sold him when it was obvious that he wasn't going to sign, I'd say that was the correct thing to do. As far as the others go, let's see what happens, each one is an individual case. An "inability" to resign them may be an unwillingness, especially with the midfield reinforcements. The player himself may not actually want to sign. If Tronstad, Travis or Hyam resign or are sold before their contracts expire, on top of the Britain sale, would that then suggest to you that things may just be changing?

It's been going on ages, which is what I think Ismael was suggesting. The Britain sale bucked the trend, as does the length of contracts for the new arrivals. We also have a new head coach, why would he want to renew the contract of a player he doesn't want ?

It depends on the reasons why they're not signing.

I don't so much mind anyone not signing, that's their prerogative. Obviously, the key is a, getting money for them. b, replacing them with a good/better. With receiving good money for Britain and signing new players on longer contracts, maybe, just maybe the new broom is getting busy.
