That is exactly where I am, the job has always been staying up. If we do, this period should be of benefit to Eustace as to what is and isn't needed going forward. I don't really see the point in getting rid of him, only to take another off the conveyor when he has already assessed the situation.

It was going out if Hyam left it -
I can see your point. Do you not think though, that we're reaching a stage where there's a hardcore of season ticket holders who will renew no matter what? I'm in that category, I've certainly never been against the club reducing ticket prices to try to maximise sales.

Reading the lad's comment who is working 2 jobs. He struggles to get to games which have been moved for tv, because of shift work. Don't know if it's been suggested, it should be easy to introduce a flexi half season ticket. Maybe a 12 game ticket which can be used for any 12 games,so a half season ticket which can be spread over the full season.

It's just a lack of awareness from Hyam. Should have been safety first knowing his keeper was out. Having said that, the finish was outstanding. -

I watched the first goal back and paused it just as Pears headed it, have a look. If he doesn’t come out, their player is clear down the left channel with all the defence gone missing. He made exactly the right choice, it's Hyam who cocks up by not clearing his lines. -

They probably would have done , but thankfully we didn't play like Boro did we? -

Why does the Eustace thread always turn into the defend Tomasson thread? -

I did, I also watched him have a man of the match performance against Leeds. Brilliant he isn't, but Wahlstedt is worse, so much worse that you're the first to mention him in about 3 months. -

I can hear the Cov fans now, how can we play like that against United and get bloody beat by Blackburn. -

Although I'm obviously hoping we win, the way I see it, a point is a better result now than it was this morning. -
Anyone who was taking a point against Wednesday this morning, is now snatching your hand off.

Go for a win but definitely don't lose would be my message. A win tomorrow and we'd actually be finishing the season in play off ish form -

We all want a home win obviously, a win on Sunday would make it 3 in 5 and we'd be starting to hit some really good form. It's just that it's never been specified before as being a "monkey on his back". I didn't realise it was a thing until now. -

I thought it was just wins he needed, I didn't realise they were now being categorised, when did that happen? Just for the record, will 1-0 do? -

Well, he's won 2 away matches, that box has been ticked. We could do with a win at home on Sunday, but that would only leave the Coventry game to get a home win at 3 o'clock on a Saturday. -

Season ticket so genuinely don't know, why is it more difficult to get a home ticket? -

Of them all, when nobody got on the end of the Somerville cross, I think that was their big moment. -

I actually thought we had the best chances, besides the goal, there was the Szmodics cross which I still can't believe didn't go in, and the Costello shot which was so close. Szmodics also forced the best save of the first half. Chances wise, they had the quantity but I'd say we had the quality. -

Can see the logic in limiting the away following, but can't you just see Szmods scoring at that end and telling them all to calm down. -

The last 6 matches looked, on paper, as tough as it gets, many were asking where our next point was coming from. The Bristol game has taken the gloss off a pretty decent run of form, considering our position and who we've played. -

Clean slate, as in level playing field and not starting by having to put fires out with players you've never coached before, i thought that was obvious. Everything this season has been about staying up, I've been saying for weeks that I don't really care if we draw our way to safety. If he fails he fails, but to me he's shown enough know how to certainly be given a fresh start from next season, I don't really know why you would Insist on carrying any of this season into next, hopefully it's mission accomplished. -

One out of 14? Come on Neil. We've been in every other game. It's been dull as dishwater and won't do from the start of a season, but all I'm saying is he's surely deserved a chance with a clean slate, now he knows the squad. I think he's shown a bit of nous. -

We've lost 4 in 14,that's far from shocking during a relegation battle, given the hand he was dealt. Barring the Bristol debacle, since he came we've conceded an average of less than one per game. To turn Rovers defence into such a tight unit, in such a short time, whilst fighting relegation I reckon shows a fair bit of coaching acumen. Before these last 6 games, many were asking where our next point was coming from, we're now looking like we're going to stay up. He definitely deserves to start next season with a clean slate, he's earned it.
