  1. There always has been. I think the Ewood fixture, if not policed properly, could get nasty. I acknowledge there are idiots that follow Rovers too.
  2. Absolutely. just making the point they are a team with goals in them, as some of their recent results have shown.
  3. Stoke's forward line of Campbell and Gayle worries me. They've also got Ben Pearson in the middle. All good players at this level.
  4. He's doing a great job. Bettered only by Boro over the last 6 games. They had a bad spell a month or two ago but he's got them flying again, as only a Robins could.
  5. This one has me worried! Stoke are starting to turn a corner as their recent results show. They are a dangerous side with some very good forwards. Regardless, the players should go into this fully confident of a result. I'll go 1-1. Pickering to score with a Roberto Carlos style free kick from 30 yards.
  6. Agreed....but I've got some ITK news for you...possibly the only ITK news I'll ever have. I sit quite near the dugouts. During a recent game (Swansea I think), when only the cold was keeping me awake, young Dacky started a warm up (it was the game he was rested and only on the subs bench). As he jogged towards the BBE, a big roar went up. It was probably the only noise the BBE had made all game. Between me and Dack was JDT. As the roar went up JDT threw his arms up in the air in the most frustrated way imaginable towards the BBE as if to say 'oh you are fucking awake and the only time you cheer is when golden boy Dacky is warming up'. Context to this is that the DE Lower had chanted a few times during the match 'Can you hear the BBE, No, No'. JDT is very complimentary about the fans, and he repeats often how the fans can help the team. You can tell he's desperate for the players to feel that connection and support. But you can also tell that behind the kind words is a plea for the fans to make more noise. Yesterday was brilliant, so was Leicester, but some games are fucking embarrassing. Maybe Rovers, and football fans in general, have changed. People do turn up and expect to be entertained these days, phones at the ready. Seating hasn't helped. There's 6 games left. It's up to the fans to make Ewood a bit of a bearpit for those 6 games. The manager is doing his bit and so are the players. Time for the grumblers to step up and be heard!
  7. Events at The Manchester | AVFTT Bloke's still alive according to this. It's really weird how they are speculating on his death. Hopefully he pulls through and recovers fully.
  8. Worth a bump to give the lad his dues. I'd not been particularly impressed with him until he came back into the team after Dack's recent injury. He's always worked hard but I thought he lacked Dack's quality. SS was dropped quite early on so JDT obviously thought he wasn't playing well either. With hindsight, and now that he's found form, you can see why the Dack comparisons are unfair. He's playing in the same position but is a totally different player. Excellent performance yesterday. He's got more quality than I gave him credit for and his work rate is phenomenal. Now that JDT has got the team playing the way he promised when he arrived, you can see how SS fits into his system.
  9. Rumours a B/pol fan has either been killed or is on a life-support.
  10. It was a brilliant goal. Every pass was perfect, and the finish was excellent, but it was the speed of the counter that was Prem quality. Gally, Thomas, Szmodics and Dolan absolutely flew up the pitch.
  11. Financially it is, which I think was the point.
  12. If Man City/Man Utd/Liverpool etc had scored the goal we scored today, it would be on a loop on Sky Sports and hailed as one of the greatest counter-attacking goals in the history of football.
  13. Corner from Chapman and a injury time winner for Bradford. Sparky going nuts on the touchline😁 They had 20k on today. Hope they go uo for Sparky and Smallwood.
  14. ha, took me a while, but very good.
  15. As some are trying to score points, I said JDT wasn't very good at his job a month ago. That's my confession. Please forgive me. 😁 I would now like to have his children.
