  1. J*B and Mercer guaranteeing promotion. We're going down.
  2. The problem with XG was exemplified by Basham's miss after he waltzed through our defence last weekend. He was clean though, with only the goalie to beat, fairly central and about 10-15 yards out. This fitted all the criteria for a high XG. The problem was it was a central defender with the chance, who happened to lose his footing just before he shot. XG doesn't take that into consideration. XG is a stat without context, as most stats are.
  3. You seem to either score 3+ goals or none. I'm hoping you're due the latter tonight!
  4. Summer breeeeeeze, Makes me feel fine, Watching Rovers conquer the Three-Six-Fiiiivvveeeeeeeeee
  5. It's good to see Vincent receiving his award alongside all the new signings he made in the summer.
  6. It's time the Met Office got some goddamn respect!
  7. A prediction thread is probably not for you then 😉
  8. Thanks. Apparently Plymouth brought thousands that day and Blackburn was painted green?
  9. Good article. The Plymouth game was a few years too early for me but my old man always talks about it as one of the best days he's ever had at Ewood. I've always had a bit of soft spot for Plymouth as a result. Good to see them in with a shout of a repeat promotion from the same league this season. BTW, who did we clinch the title against in front of 21k?
  10. They're home to Luton then away to S'land and Norwich. Then Wigan, then Burnley. They're favourites but lots of points to play for yet. If we keep winning anything can happen.
  11. He hasn't. He was good in the air under Coyle and now that he's been restored to his favoured position he's back to being good in the air. Unfortunately he was Mowbrayed for a few years out on the wing.
  12. It helps he's not being played as a winger. This is the first little run he's had playing week-in week-out as a striker. Good player, works hard, winning lots of headers (despite people talking shite about him being shit in the air), turning into a decent target man.
  13. We had an amazing 2 or 3 months last season that started after the Fulham home humiliation. won something like 10 in a row. From this point onwards in 21/22 we won 3 out of 11.
  14. Nonsense. They had about 3 half chances.
  15. Equal record defeat for ManUre. Also lost 7-0 to the might Rovers in 1926, Villa in 1930, and Wolves in 1931.
  16. I think The Don went 23 unbeaten in the old Div 2, although that may be a false memory. Nothing is impossible to the Dahl Lama.
  17. We're 11 unbeaten in all competitions. I look forward to your predictions.
  18. Yes, you were asked about your recent 'lacklustre' performances at which point you rattled off a load of pitiful excuses. Keep up.
  19. They're easily rattled after a 0-0 at B/pool. Hilarious.
  20. Try reading the thread again and then ask the person who made them. He clearly felt the need to make excuses for your 0-0 draw yesterday and the recent 'lacklustre' performances.
  21. injuries (ha), london (haha) determined opposition (hahaha) Like you're the only team facing such challenges. Excuses, excuses.
  22. Excuses, excuses. We've had 8 games in 26 days, and have a much smaller squad with just as many injuries. Maybe you're just no the new Barca like your deluded fans think you are 😉
  23. How many points do we need to get in the Play-Offs? 74 How many points do we need to get in the Automatics? 86 How many points will we get? 78 Stoke (A) = D Reading (H) = W B'ham (A) = W Norwich (H) = D H'field (A) = W Hull (H) = W Coventry (H) = D Nobbers (A) = W Dingles (H) = D Luton (H) = D Millwall (A) = L
