  1. Ohh mate! I think we will do better against QPR. Less pressure as its not a derby and hopefully we get to play 11v 11. The red (well deserved) did change the dynamics of the game..also we should have started with mak against their huge defence and I think we will against QPR. Have faith
  2. Good point What's realistic as an expectation ? Obviously we would (as fans) want us to win the league, unbeaten and smash scum home and away but let's be realistic. We managed to avoid relegation last season and we missed out on play offs by a goal the season before So this season. A guarantee top 6 spot? Or mid table with a new squad establishing itself? Definitely not bottom half of table..
  3. Pears OG.. oh dear that was unfortunate last time round. What a change in squad. I hope Mak is back!
  4. It's a really good discussion and one I value this forum for. Is Wharton ' valued ' for what he brings (his vision, class etc despite relative lack of PL experience) hence he plays when injured using pain relief because he is that good they need him in the team Or is it Palace are ' desperate ' for cm's because lack in squad depth so they play him regardless of injury and pump him full of pain meds. Watching arsenal yesterday they played timber out of position as white was injured but they were so desperate after the red they subbed Saka and brought on an injured white which shows more desperation (than the club holding value in timber and therefore playing him anyway as a right back and dropping white) I think palace could play others in cm if they are desperate but value Wharton therefore play him regardless even for 45mins
  5. Maybe but like you said any away point is good and playing against 10 always different. Shame about Becks red but nevermind. We got a point, pears got yet another clean sheet and we are still unbeaten. I'll take that
  6. Nah I don't think they are so desperate for CM they risk Adam..he's one of their key players now.
  7. Pears kept a clean sheet!!
  8. Shows his quality how much the club and coaches want him starting a game against Utd despite being injured and needing pain meds
  9. Championship officials I guess. Hopefully the guy gets a long term ban
  10. Agreed..the ref should check Beck, fine send him off whatever but check Beck and see a bite mark and then immediately send the other fella off. Really obvious. Shouldn't be on the pitch. I hope he gets a long term ban like Suarez and Becks red gets overturned
  11. Do the EFL ever review these?!
  12. Blimey Pears..well done chap
  13. Both were bad decisions - that's 2 reds against our local rivals now.. I wonder if the refs have been advised to be extra harsh. I don't think either were a red and its so frustrating we lose Beck for a game or two
  14. This is an unbelievable result for PNE if they hold on. FFS We are still unbeaten though!!
  15. Great for Cantwell to get some mins.. he'll come good soon enough
  16. There is still time... Come on Rovers
  17. Need to be capitalising on this now. Not sure how we manage against 10. But I've got faith!! Time for big Gueye on at half time please
  18. Fair play that was a great reaction and effort. Unlucky to hit the post there. I don't think he could have done anymore
  19. Change tactics please JE or make a sub any of Dolan Hedges or Baker off.
  20. These defenders are a little too big for Yuki. Hope Gueye comes on during the game and handles them a bit better. Got faith though!! Come on Yuki
  21. Bit harsh that early yellow
