  1. Yep totally agree. We will lose some but top6-8 would be fine.. top 6 would be great. Anything is else above is a bonus considering
  2. Yeh just curious. Hopefully will find out soon enough although pears has had a couple of good games lately. The cup will probably help see how he is
  3. Yeh it is strange but also they didn't play him in their previous cup game at all and he played the full 90mins the previous PL game so it could just be they see him as so valuable against Utd they didn't want to lose. It worked I guess. He played half the match. They didn't concede or lose. Let's see if he gets recovery time or he starts the next match
  4. Wooah there mate slow down Raya is currently world class sure playing in premier league and champions League and consistently performing Pears has currently made a couple of clean sheets in the championship so let's just hold perspective
  5. Yeh I know that I mean has anyone seen him in action ie for u21s etc
  6. Lol. Yes agree but how about our actual players. Haha
  7. Basically all our defensive players which I agree with. So how about this..who had the worst game for us then?
  8. We do have a strong bench. Tbf it's a difficult one to answer. I was more curious about whether he was ill or just not in the squad for another reason
  9. Haha yeh I do rate him too. Shame about the red (I thought that wasn't a red but this has been discussed)
  10. Fair enough! It's great to have this forum for these discussions. Glad we have 3-4 players we are debating over who had the better game in a 0-0. Wouldn't have had this discussion last season!
  11. Yeh Trav did well too. And tronstad especially considering his yellow. Pears man of the match is a big call. He did his job. Did he do exceptional? I don't think so.. he did better than we expected though
  12. For me? Batth Played well. Cleared well. Managed our box well. Pears did have some great saves for sure
  13. Bristol don't have an arena yet but there is one being built called YTL and that will be about 10mins cycle from our home when it's finally open in 2026/27 can't wait for some big acts to be able to come to Bristol!! Even better it's so close to where we live.
  14. Or he has an agent who knows he won't be able to do great things at rovers and will start making noise at clubs like Southampton
  15. Yeh I don't think he was our "best player" either. Definitely his kicking game was off and not sure he plays that game well. He's definitely more of a passer than a long distance. Hopefully he keeps on the run of clean sheets. Anyone know his record so far? He's currently on 2..
  16. Haha. Wish JE can spot the trend and bench him when required.
  17. Good thing is that he has quality and experience..he will come good.. matter of when not if. Ideally sooner than later but it's a long season ahead
  18. Any word on his continued absence? Seemed ill last week but didn't make the squad at pne
  19. Yuki and Gueye? But yeh I totally agree. Wharton money, Raya money... That's a whole different thread though! At least we aren't paying huge fees dodgy agents now
  20. Anyone seen him u21s or training?
  21. Was an interesting game to watch. Definitely on paper can see why you would say that. Never easy playing against 10. We didn't lose away from home...didn't concede. Could have been worse but also we could have played with gueye up top to start against their defence and used him more
  22. Agreed. Hedges probably needs a rest too. He's been off form lately and had a big injury end of last season
  23. We were getting such terrible advice back then. Things seem to have finally changed where we are acquiring players cheap who are doing well with their value or even increasing. Sammie signed for £1-2m and sold for £8m+
  24. I wish they would retrospective review these decisions. Such inconsistency
