January Transfer Needs
NeilInBristol replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The club's head coach, Valerien Ismael, said earlier this week he would be willing to sacrifice part of his transfer budget if it meant the money was reallocated to improving their pitch. Just going back to this a sec, it implies we have a transfer budget for January?? -

I hope you are right but 5-7k is still a lot of people I see Bristol rovers play at the mem and they are now relegated yet still get 6k each game at home Tues sat. It’s a lot of people it’s astonishing that we have fallen so low but in reality for it to be noticeable 7k turning up doesn’t seem to raise an eyebrow with the media -

Last season we had travis and tronstad with Buckley on the bench and rarely used If people can’t see the downgrade of our squad due to the owners then they deserve to waste their money and go to the ground and watch us struggle -

I am amazed that even 5-7k actually turned up last night!! A cold wet Tues to watch us struggle against Oxford - there are some truly die hard fans of ours. If they would protest as well and show the media that they aren’t coming to the ground but the fact that many even turned up last night doesn’t give me much hope that we can muster up enough of a walk out to attract media attention against the scumbags -

That and we have only scored 19 goals as much as he complains about injuries we have had our front line available all season and all we can score is 19! The lowest of the league -

Mental that rovers fans are dependent on some second hand information from, no offence to them but Oxford fans who are looking to get a bus to Lanc, it is crazy the club need to seriously get a grip on its fan communication -

Is it cheaper for the club to 1-proceed with the game and hope it isn’t called off 2-proceed with the game and expect it to get abandoned 3-call it off in advance and go for a replay -

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
NeilInBristol replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yes exactly they have been “running “ the club for 15 years the only person who spoke out of terms in that tenure (JDT) was gone immediately this is all orchestrated -

Would be so much better for the fans and players if they just called it now let those who are working and doing their day jobs know in advance to prevent them arriving to find out it’s being abandoned after 15mins or whatever -

NeilInBristol replied to Elrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yes shame on them so many people, literally thousands would turn up to watch them play, on a cold winter Tuesday night before Christmas, and they can’t even communicate to advise fans if it’s on or not shame on them they should know if it’s being postponed they should communicate asap -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
NeilInBristol replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yes exactly!! He is safe he is fine he he can actually say whatever he wants as long as he gets the message out that there will be no investment in the squad because the money is now needed for the pitch, no doubt this will be used for a few windows. The club will have to fix the pitch now either to avoid fine or further negative attention, further abandonments, which will probably be costly especially with the injuries etc etc so they will be forced to repair the pitch or at least spend money on investigating and reports etc which he and Rudy etc can now justify why we have no money for transfers getting VI to make it seem like there is now no money for transfers is genius from their perspective Don’t fall for the BS that comes out of the club -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
NeilInBristol replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
"If I can influence something, if we need to save money in the transfer market to add money to get a new pitch, I will be the first person to [do] it because I want to see fans coming into the stadium to make sure they can see the game. "If I have to make that sacrifice for the better of the club, I will do it." sorry I don’t buy this BS why VI do we have to sacrifice our transfers? Why is that an option? Are are you saying the club doesn’t have money coming from the owners? Why not? They are not under embargo so not the same excuse as last year we sold so many players recently why are you making it about players vs maintaining the pitch both are equally important and both are the responsibility of the owners -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
NeilInBristol replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
He is a yes man and he knows and the club knows that they can use this as an excuse as to why not invest any money into players and he’s making it sound like he is sacrificing the needs of the team for the club to have a playable pitch, like we can’t have both!! Joke He knows there isn’t he is using this as an excuse! Once we buy no players they can say it’s because we used money on the pitch repairs which he said he was happy to do it’s all a con Yes he knows they won’t give him a transfer budget hence saying he would be up for sacrificing it for the pitch repairs- all a con Exactly!!!! -

NeilInBristol replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yeh agreed he won’t leave he is one of their own yes men- see his excuses list not once does he mention the lack in financial support from the owners or the systematic downgrade of our club and facilities which would be suicidal but we saw JDT call them out so it’s not beyond the realm of possibilities however this chump must be loving the gig he’s got -

NeilInBristol replied to Elrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Spot on!! they won’t care or know they have nothing to do with the club now players will be sold regardless but this now gives rudy etc a reason to justify selling the players we have and not reinvesting, they will use this pitch drainage situation as a problem “we “ have to fix internally infact has rudy ever mentioned or made reference to the owners? Not like when Big T chose not to “go begging “ for transfer funds yet had regular conversations with the owners- do they even know who rudy is This is so painful that it’s funny and frustrating at the same time what a joke of a club we have become under these cretins -

yep and our players basically suffer- it’s not fair for them to play more minutes than other teams, more risk of injury etc -
v Sheffield Wednesday (h) - 06/12/25
NeilInBristol replied to Elrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
we have played 80mins of one game called off replayed that match 60mins of another game called off Will replay this match Not just an embarrassment perspective, potential fine for the club, lack of progression as we now played one less than others around us, but more importantly from a player welfare perspective, considering the amount of injuries, our players are playing more minutes than others as they are effectively playing 2 games more than every other club, which is more risk of injury especially the stop start nature of the abandoned matches stupid ownership If you don’t care about our club, our history, our reputation, our league position, at least care about the player welfare -and repair the pitch!! -

Yes agree After the Ipswich game they came out and discussed it and he said nothing after this game the Wednesday coach came out and talked about it and he said nothing clearly being told to say nothing until they have decided a PR angle
