  1. "Derby County were held to a goalless draw with Oxford United as the Rams continued negotiations to appoint Blackburn head coach John Eustace as their new boss. The 45-year-old is understood to be poised to take over as Rams boss, but was not spotted in the stands at Pride Park as Derby's hierarchy worked through the evening to try complete a deal to have him swap a promotion push with Rovers for a relegation battle with the East Midlands side. What he missed out on was an underwhelming draw that extended Derby's winless run to 10 matches across all competitions – although it was enough to lift them out of the drop zone on goal difference." Well.. Well.. Well.. Our hierarchy is so poor he would swap potential promotion challenge with this lot. Says it all really. Amazed he stayed as long as he did tbh Good luck JE. You brought some joy to our fans and we played some good football at time. You did what you could with what you had and saved us from relegation and kept us dreaming once more... Cheers
  2. Yeh exactly!! It's a win win for any coach who has the balls to deal with the crooks. 15 games. Plus play offs. Just come in, pick the team and ignore the chaos upstairs and get us in to the play offs. More media attention the better
  3. Where did this come from? Was this before the derby news?
  4. "following the activation of a clause in his contract" IE they paid rovers compensation Ffs
  5. An actual January window transfer deadline day signing, let alone two. They can operate a fax machine finally!
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c20p846gjq8o Serie b to championship... What we thinking ? Is he another gueye type player or will they play together? Exciting times Come on you Rovers
  7. But that's what we have been doing since we were promoted. It seems to suit them lot fine
  8. I agree but let's remember play offs were never likely. By chance yes but definitely not the intention of the direction of the club. We just about survived last season no thanks to those above but they don't care about promotion or playoffs. If anything I wouldn't be surprised if we aren't getting Jan reinforcements because it will help us stay in top 6. Not paranoid or conspiracy but just know our club and the shit show direction we are under and can imagine it's better for them if we don't get into play offs so anything to hinder, and stay surviving championship, rather than help us get promoted and back to where we should be is unlikely.
  9. I am amazed he is still here. Who would want to work under these lot with his hands tied behind his back. He may wait til Feb 3rd to see if the club actually do any good business but I wouldn't be surprised if he is off. He's a decent coach operating under unnecessary restraints
  10. My favourite game of the season. Hope we don't have an absolute mare like last season. That was embarrassing and I still haven't lived it down. So much banter about it this week. Hopefully I'll be giving banter next week! Come on rovers
  11. Oh no blame I just feel for the guy. He's also pushing publicly for signings. How long will he stick around under these clowns. Another great coach being frustrated by the clowns enough to start using pressers to talk about wanting signings. We've been here before
  12. "We can give the lads a break, get players back and in the recruitment side, get good players to come in." More quotes from LT Oh John. Seems like he's more hopeful than he should be.
  13. Can you add a question to the registration forms.. What do we call Burnley? If they call Burnley Dingles too then they get a pass..
  14. He was also quite settled in the midlands prior to his Birmingham departure A club that has ownership supporting the coach does look quite tempting for him..
  15. Great work fella Haven't these clowns got something better to do with their lives.
  16. "I'd love to get players in as quick as we can. Teams around us have already signed players. The quicker we can get players in the better." From LET Oh dear JE now publicly asking for signings similar to how JDT used to...let's see who the club try and fail to sign on deadline day and see how JE reacts..
  17. Agreed..Big Sam was not as reliable in his latter Rovers years so I'm glad we replaced. Another season with him would have been frustrating. Big Gueye isnt having the best season but it's his first in the championship so he has a grace period but let's see. Any firm striker options available?
  18. I agree Also the players are at fault. They just aren't good enough quality so lose the ball, miss the pass. He can only coach the tactics but they have to perform and they tried but not good good enough unfortunately
  19. So slow on the counter. Just wasted!!
  20. Free kick incoming in dangerous position. Doubt we can do anything useful with it...
