  1. Of course stoke won Of course QPR winning Ffs
  2. Not wanting to give the egg and that lot any credit but the few transfers we did make last summer (yes they were mainly trash) were all made under the radar with limited gossip. We must be signing some players this summer. We have to.
  3. "Across the last 10 years, the highest points tally that saw a team relegated was a tally of 51 accrued by Blackburn Rovers in 2016. Rovers sunk to League One on goal difference, behind Nottingham Forest, achieving a -12 goal difference compared to Forest's -10. The 50-point mark usually guarantees you survival in the Championship, but that season was the exception. Charlton were also unlucky to be relegated with 48 points in 2020."
  4. The EFL has urged the FA to "re-evaluate their approach", stating there was "no agreement" prior to the deal being announced and no "formal consultation".
  5. Spot on. We need a win The club needs a win The team and squad needs a win And by golly JE needs a win A win is the only thing us lot should expect
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68708898 Can't believe one of our legends will be working with them lot now
  7. Wow Look what these lot have done to our attendance. Walker would be devastated
  8. Great interview in LT He is showing what he wants Upto the club to match his ambition
  9. If we survive this season our CEO will see this as a very successful season..may even treat the players to a new signing bus repaint of the bus
  10. Wonder if, as points by others, us allowing away fans to bring their 1000s, doesn't really give us a home advantage?7000 sheff weds fans, Vs 12-13000 home fans? Not a huge difference especially if they are getting behind their team
  11. Crazy to think arsenal Bayern and arsenal only take 3700 fans to Germany. Sheff bring 7000 to Lancashire!
  12. I love the optimism folks. Let's get survival sorted first then see what crap they dish up. More 20% savings and sell Sammie with no reinvestment? Please prove me wrong
  13. So true. With the importance of these games SURELY the club should go everything they can to encourage as many fans to attend. They are crazy. 12,000 fans paying £30 or 25,000 paying even £15 would bring in more revenue and the players would be buzzing with a large crowd. Stupid decisions at our club unfortunately. £30 a ticket is crazy in this climate when we are so close to the end of the season and need a win. Fans would help the team on match day. Shame that fans aren't respected by the club.
  14. The coach has the luxury of a full week to prepare. We've done better when playing with time to prepare under his stewardship so hopefully we get the3 on Saturday.
  15. Yeh totally. See my post in the Eustace thread. Aside from Bristol -which was down to many individual mistakes (he should have dropped hyam at half time though) He's definitely made headway since international break and overall he is getting us to the promised 50points. Fantastic result yesterday. I think the travelling fans made a huge impact too and helped the team. The win is great for our teams confidence
  16. I agree with this. Great result today and survival is looking a little bit more likely. Besides the city game which was a lot of individual errors they played better today and have done since the international break so if we get to the golden 50 point which he promised us when he joined which looks very likely I agree, let's see how the summer pans out when he has his own pre season and can ask the club for his own players. Be interesting to see who he gets in to work with.
  17. I see your point but I raise your point with your comments in bold.
  18. Result was great. Let's not get carried away. Eustace record and run of games has been shocking. We shouldn't have been in a situation where we are excited about beating Leeds because it means survival. He's had plenty of games we should have won and he's been shocking and so have the team.. let's not forget But yeah totally great result today. We are almost safe..need a reshape in the summer though
  19. "Sam Szmodics scored his 30 goal of the campaign to become the first Rovers player since Alan Shearer to hit that landmark back in 1996. It could be the most important if Rovers go on to secure their league status"
  20. They didn't create much on weds despite the scoreline. We literally gave them the goals the first 2 I was sat behind and we gifted. It was really bad from us and they just took their opportunity. Huddersfield shouldn't be that generous today but let's see
