  1. That was not your point from day 1. Your point from day 1 was that the pitch was playable and the match should have been finished
  2. I remember my older cousin telling me about this game, which he attended. I would be 9 years old and he was in London awaiting demob after WW2. He said Rovers missed an absolute sitter late on and Charlton went straight down the other end and scored to win 1-0. They went on to beat Dingles 1-0 in the cup final. I also remember going to the last league game of that season, which was extended due to to an awful winter. I was excited at seeing cup winners Charlton. It was played on Whit Monday morning to avoid a clash with East Lancs’ game in the Lancashire League that afternoon. Rovers won 1-0
  3. So open both end uppers, and charge £50. Charge whatever for the Blackburn end lower tier and don’t open the Darwen end lower. No one would buy tickets for the BE upper, job done 😀
  4. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  5. I believe if they weren’t prepared to set a precedent and listen to submissions, they would have made the decision by now.
  6. In fairness I haven’t heard Rovers bellyache. Some fans, yes
  7. A hard and fast rule would mean if it happened on the last day of the season, with two mid table teams and nothing at stake, they would have to stick strictly to the rule. Even if that meant a replay
  8. I never mentioned points awarded
  9. If the panel decision comes within the regulations I wouldn’t think there were grounds for litigation. Taking part in the competition means clubs accept the rules
  10. My daughter went for the 17:04 from Bolton which was terminated there
  11. I think most of us agree that the wilful neglect of the infrastructure was likely a major contributory factor on Saturday. To play devils advocate, it is also a fact that the railway line between Blackburn and Bolton was closed around teatime on Saturday, due to flooding
  12. Surely if the EFL made a decision both clubs would have to accept it, even if they don’t like the decision?
  13. Sounds good on paper. Who would referee the two games, it would be on a different ground, there would be an incentive to make sure certain opponents weren’t fit for the full game. I’m sure there would be many more scenarios.
  14. A reply from EFI would be handy
  15. Be careful “for us tea” and things like “catch us bus” is dingle talk
  16. Because that’s in the regulations for replays. The travel expenses come out of match receipts, plus if appropriate hotel accommodation for up to 24 people
  17. If I had travelled around 250 miles to watch my team, I would expect them to show some appreciation for that
  18. I seem to recall reading that in addition to your solution, extending the outfall to further downstream could be undertaken, without Environment Agency involvement, but obviously at a cost to the club
  19. That might help Chaddy change his mind
  20. You’re wasting your time. I asked him exactly the same question on page 26 and he sidetracks and refuses to answer
  21. Can you please show me where your answer to my question is
