It just been revealed that West Ham are the latest club to be on the verge of a take over from wealthy investors. Is anyone else worried that so many premiership teams are being bought out such as Portsmouth, Villa, Chelsea and west ham, all of which Bar chelsea were on a similar or lower level to rovers, that we will have to look for investment to compete for to upper reaches of the premiership. With no seemin interest, and being honest, Blackburn as a town isnt as attractive as a london club, it doesnt look likely. I would be all for investement but i know others are against it. What are your thoughts?

£2.5m for Shefki 'No Touch' Kuqi is mega bucks. Replaced him with a all round better player in Nonda, were £2.5m up, less wages and a stronger team. Whats the problem. Sparkys eyes must have lit up when he saw that offer. Kuqi was one of the lest technically giftet premiership players i have ever seen! Were Ok at the back for now until neill leaves, Pretty good upfrot with the same midfield that got us 6th last season. Spend abit in january on an attacking midfielder and were flying.

great news. Roberts and McCarthy Upfront is certainly a Powerful forward line that will cause teams problems. Hopefully with a full Pre Season under him Jeffers can weigh in with afew aswel. Has anyone got any scoring stats on McCarthy? I wonder if this will be our last signing of the summer. Still think we need a creative player.

My Fm 06 is not easy at all, infact quite the opposite. I am real betis who are like Englands Tottenham i suppose, with some great players but no where near good enough to challenge for the title. I am in late 2009 now, and have made progress every season, but as yet I havent won a single trophy. Finished 2nd Last season n got to 1st knock out round of the champs league where Man U beat me and went on to win it! In Spain Athletico Madrid seem to win everything, done the double like 3 seasons in a row now. Anyway think i may be in with a great shout of the title this season. My Fm is not easy, have to make progress step by step, no winning title in 1 or 2 years unless your a top team like Barca or Man Utd. P.s. Bargain of the Century, Striker Fred, 25 years old, Brazilian Striker from Lyon, worth £31m, on a free transfer!!! Awsome.

Does anyone else find the new game stupidly hard?? I had a good first season with Blackburn finished 7th, got into europe. Since then i cant buy a win, almost got relegated and sacked second season after scraping through with about 4 games left despite a better squad. Third season, after only a couple of additions such as Sinema Pongolle and a creative midfielder and an awsome damien duff on season loan (I heard its bad to keep changing the squad) I had a promising start, but again the results have just dissapeared, and now dropping like a stone, and no tactics, squad changes seem to make any difference. Almost as if its completely out of my hands and its up to the computer to decide results. In comparison i won the Champs league with blackburn in about 5 years on the 2005 game. A huge difference in difficulty.

Pennant is a must if Birmingham go down. With Pennant, Bentley and Pedersen all in the same squad then mabye there would be enough creativity to compensate for the loss of Tugay. Upson is a good shout too, Portsmouth have alot of decent players if they go down also, Sean Davis, Taylor, Oneil. But I doubt they would be on the cheap as the russian guy will help keep the club away from financial trouble.

Did anyone see Alan Smiths Injury today. Looked a bad one especially regarding the recation of the other players. Reports say a broken leg and a dislocated ankle. Surely puts him out of the world cup. Hope he recovers ok!

This was the first ever game i saw at ewood, and was the day before my 7th birthday i think. A shearer hat trick, Le saux from 30 yards, Mike Newell got one and cant remember who else. We sat in the Jack Walker stand, think it was the first day it was open. Those were the days. On a side not, Blackburn are yet to loose when i have travelled to watch them, which includes a trip to old trafford!

My trick was a decent formation and selling all the deadwood off, eg Enkleman, Matteo, Jansen, Gallagher, Douglas, Almost all reserves, Gresko, Dikov and got around 4.5m for them. They on player search fitted filters to find some quality cheap players, especially defenders. Get Dwight Pezzarossi! Scored 4 on his debut! Also Riordan. Also helped that Kuqi scored 28 in a season!!!!!!!

Andres D'Allesandro. Obviously not wanted or doesnt want to be at his present club, hence the portsmouth loan. I wonder how much he would cost?
