I think Tony is an honest genuine bloke but i believe his managerial ability is limited. I remember last season being very underwhelmed many a time by his tactics and comments. There was one game at home to bury where in the build up Mowbray explained in the LET how it would be a very hard game and that he would have to make a team to cope with their brilliant right back. Come on..... The players have lost their battle, Dack is a shadow of what he was and the manager seems clueless. Thank God for the early season points. I can't see Venkys and co being keen to replace him.

This team and manager have a serious mentality issue....once or twice is bad luck or a decent team. To lose the lead the way we have over the last month is inexcusable. Poor mentality and bad management. Kick the ball in the stands for 2 minutes. Never known a side snatch defeat from the jaws of victory so often. That's 7 points we've dropped in the last 10 minutes over the last month. Shocker.

Rovers V Norwich 22/12/18

Sadly the league table now probably reflects what our performances have deserved this season. I wouldn't say we are any better or worse now than when Mowbray took over. Our best player is also on loan More worryingly is Dack seems to have completely gone off it -

We need to phase out the pedestrian, cautious lack of technical ability approach and develop a forward thinking mobile side. I very much doubt Mowbray will ever think this tough. Raya Nyambe Lenhian Mulgrew Bell Rodwell Reed Armstrong Dack Rothwell Graham Subs. Nuttall. Travis. Downing. Evans. Brereton. Palmer, Leutwiler -

This result confirms that before we have any thoughts of pushing for the play offs this team needs some serious improvement. So two games 80 minutes against 10 men and a 2-0 lead have resulted in only 2 points. I guess we have to give them credit to have led us to relative safety in the division but many of this squad are simply not good enough to progress any further. I think it will take 3 or 4 transfer windows of successful improvement -
I agree I think most out business will be re-jigging out loan players. Solanke must be looking to go out on loan from Liverpool. Hes not had a kick this season other than England U21s. I think hes out of our reach though and will probably go to bottom half prem sides. Vydra also doesnt seem to have played much but is proven in the Championship. I think we will be sniffing around squad players on loan from teams like Everton, Bournemouth etc.

Looking at the games coming up this is an important game at home. I'd want us to go at it from the off. Need Reed in the middle. Raya Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Bell Reed Evans Rothwell Dack Armstrong Graham -
Agree I think Chapman has missed the boat with us now. I wouldn't think anyone would look at him until he's had a couple of years injury free. Another loan maybe. Lack of pace and lack of goals other than dack or Graham is our main issue.

We've no attacking flair other than Dack (when he turns up). Need some pace -

We'd have taken a point before the game, but given the circumstances it's a big 2 points dropped. If we were down to 10 men I doubt we'd have kept it level -

Not got a good feeling about this one. perhaps thats a good think after being quietly confident before the Preston and Wigan game. I doubt there will be many goals whatever the score. Drab 0-0. -
Just had a quick look, seems he starts regularly on the left. Made 14 appearances and started the last game. Still feel a bit surprised a blackburn fan born in blackburn jumped ship at the first opportunity. He only had about 10 games under his belt with us.

Surely we need to look for some pace in January. Other than Armstrong and Nyambe there isnt really any. A geniunie wide player with pace on loan would give us a different dimension expecially when chasing a game or for the last 30 mins. Probably a young PL loan player, no idea who mind. How has Bauer beeing doing? Is he still out of contract in summer?

Anyone heard how Connor Mahoney has got on since forcing a move from us last year? Not heard anything about him other than he went on loan somewhere.

Has anyone got the new Battlefield V? How does it compare to Battlefield 1 and COD?

Cant see in a million years we would get Solanke. Hes just scored 4 in 2 for the under 21s. I can see a mid table prem team taking him on loan in January. As others have said the squad is fairly competetive. I would like to see a strong powerful striker on loan unless Brereton starts getting a few games there.A pacey wide man on loan would also be good. If theres one thing our team lacks overall its pace. I wonder if we will re-visit for the charlton Centre Back Bauer in January. A bit of height I can see us making one or two additions at most. I also think Travis, Nuttal, Tomlinson and some others may go out on loan.

I actually think England are playing better now than at the world cup. The 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 looks much more balanced than the 3 at the back we played in the world cup. It will be interesting to see if southgate sticks with it or goes back to his WC formation for an important game. Some decent young players coming through at the moment which has showed in the u17 u18 and u21s winning tournaments. Hope they all get given opportunities at club level .
