Good win at the weekend. I think we should start Gudjonsson as hes obviously match fit and scored against France. Theres no need for us to keep him on the bench. Ive watched Gueye live enough times now to know hes truly awful. Its clear he'll never be any good at championship level. The only way I see him being effective is if the team was set up for him to minimise him having the ball at his feet. Direct style of play and Two wingers putting crosses in towards his head. Thats not gonna happen though. I'd rather sell for a fee and get cover in on loan. On another note, I know nothing about him but the Birmingham Facebook page had lots of comments about it was silly of them to let TGH leave and was generally positive comments about him. Well see.

I understand its crazy to accept a bid on one of our few experienced players..but the money Wrexham and Birmingham are throwing around is crazy stuff. How much have they spent this window...£35m? Saw his interview last night, which was nice. Its obviously a big life change for him leaving the club which is all he has known. I did get the impression listening to him, he's not entirely sure what he wants and wasn't exactly full of emotion or passion. I think he had some decent technique but lacks the sort of personality to become a very good player. Not much fight about him.

I went to the Bradford cup game, Henriksson was one of the worst players I've seen in a Rovers shirt. Literally couldn't control a ball, kept bouncing off his knees and shins. He also looked like he was running in treacle. Hadn't his season already started so he's had a full pre season and arguable further on in fitness than our players? Looked an absolute shocker to be honest. Hopefully it was nerves and confidence thing but I'm not sure. De Neve looked like another Hedges, runs around a lot but lost the ball repeatedly. Then scored a tidy finish. Hard to judge until he plays more but he looked more mobile than Henriksson. Thats the risk with buying loads of foreign unknowns. Some may adapt quickly, some adapt slowly and some are just shite.

Another player ive never heard of...although I could say that about 80% of players in the championship...presume this guy is a winner and not another 10 to clog up with cantwell and henrikssen. Has he got any pace? Big worry for me is lack of any championship experience and probable language barrier amongst players now.

This teams gonna finish bottom of the league. Shit cheap players no one has every heard of. Cheap manager. Also think there's some discontent in the dressing room hence the mass exodus. Dark dark times. My local club morecambe have been run into oblivion by a corrupt owner. Well be next.

Just back from the game. Thats the worst rovers side ive ever seen. Apart from Tavares and Miller there is no one of any quality. Absolute relegation fodder on that showing I'm afraid. Slowly being run into the ground. Replace anyone of value and experience with unknowns from foreign leagues shows in the team now. Henriksoon looks an absolute plodder. Could barely control a ball. Young lads not fit for first team yet. I think there must be something rotten going on in the background. I know we probably dont offer the best wages but it seems any established players want out of the club now. We shouldn't be loosing established players like we are to the likes of Derby.

I'm intrigued to see if Yuki and gueye can kick on a bit more after a proper pre season and more time to adapt. Id personally rather see us go all out for a proper winger with pace than an expensive CF. Its hard to Judge the forwards when they had Dolan and Hedges supplying them. Yuki got 11 last season in his first season with a long injury lay off as well. A lot of unkowns in the side to start the season. Will it be a pleasant surprise or an absolute shocker?

I'm not that fussed about Weimann, He chipped in with a few goals, but he also didn't offer much in terms or running, pressing etc and is another year and another injury later. Id rather replace him with someone younger. Bath is a big loss though, both on the pitch and off it. Real shame he sees Derby as a better option. Sign of where we are at these days.

I think something like that would be the only saviour. The club is never going to be big enough to climb the football ladder like Wrexham etc, so its never going to get into the big money leagues. Always likely to be a loss maker. The only viable buyer would be if a fan of some sort took it over. Must be a similar story with most lower league teams.

My local club. A real shame. Was once a family club that overachieved and competed well in League 1. Taken over by a dodgy bloke with a history of running businesses into the ground and even liquidating other sports clubs. Absolutely terrible the amount of dodgy owners with alternative motives in the English leagues. Its not just Rovers that suffer with this.

If there was ever a team that's odds on to loose against the shittest sides it's rovers. Without fail, consistently loosing against the worst sides in the league. I think this time next season it will be very bleak

Think he could have done a decent job in the no 10 or free role position cantwell plays. I'd wager he'd chip in with more goals than Cantwell who isn't exactly tearing it up. Never fit though unfortunately. Always wondered how injured he actually was or just didn't fancy sitting on the bench.

That statement by the club is an absolute disgrace. A bunch of short term loans and freebies come in and half the squad out of contract. It's an abomination they think we're in a good place. I can't blame JE one bit. If I wasn't a fan and it was just a job I'd have tucked off long long ago.

In my mind, they deliberately keep us shit. Any sniff at improvement, they take away. I genuinely think they want to keep us as a loss making entity for some financial reason like Tax. If you make a loss you can offset a bunch of taxes that end up saving you money overall....especially if youre worth billions.
