Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
benhben replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Posted a message about it in one of the Facebook supporters groups, decent size with around 8k members. As expected the first few replies have not been supportive. Sad that so many fans seem content with the owners. Stockholm Syndrome. -

Its on the LET now. Headline seems a bit of a downplay...collection of fans ask for boycott, rather than all the main supporters group in a combined statement. EDIT: just actually read the article. Its a copy and past of the letter. They dont share any of their own views or give any encouragement or caution. -

Love the letter. Agree with every single word. My only worry is it is just words that may not be seen or respected by enough supporters that it doesn't have any effect. I sincerely hope the fan base are brave enough to follow through. If it leads to a mass player exodus, administration and relegation..but forces the cancers out it is worth it. Need to spread the word. Get in the media! -

Why Venkys continue to own us and wont try and sell, despite making large annual losses but likewise wont try and chase promotion to where the big money is...is one of lifes great mysteries. Seems completely pointless. Unless theres some dodgy tax write off scheme going on...which is more likely I suspect. If a billion pound company has a couple of small loss makers, it may save them more in tax gains than the losses we make. -
Great news for the lad. From no-where really, complete unknown when signed, no real club pedigree...to performing like he has and now a soon to be international. Good on him. Fuck me though, our squad is in bits at the moment. I know our owners have asset stripped for years, and the summer window was an abomination....but that must be 8 or 9 first teamers unavailable now. Any championship side would struggle with that.

Id take relegation and administration if it purged the current lot out. Imagine a club ran by people who cared. We may never have the funds to compete at the top now but at least decisions would be honest and with good intention -

Why do we always concede in injury time either first half or second half. So bad. -

How come when our players get injured they're our for fucking ages? Wasnt Tronstadt just a minor knock? Wonder how good the physio depths is -

Panned it down all day here in Morecambe. Very wet November/December so far. Love that the main topic on here now is the weather. Sign of the clubs decline. -

Just looked to see where Vale is now on my FotMob app. He was at motherwell last seaso and now Northampton. He has hardly scored a goal for anyone. -

This is the sort of game we struggle, when we have most of the ball and the other side sit in. Were more set up to play an Ipswich at home where were more like the away side. A must win if we have any desire to stay up, but banana skin written all over it. -

Unbelievable. Conceding late 90m plus goals has been an issue with rovers for the last 4 or 5 years. Its becoming a habit. -

Why are we so wank at home? -
Thought he was quiet last night. The biggest difference when Anderson came on was how he nips around the pitch and is always demanding the ball and therefore recieves more passes. Not just showing for the ball but shouting for it. He therefore gets noticed more and has more chance to shine. Adam was a bit passive and whilst showed for the ball, you could see he wasnt demanding it or talking much to his team mates. Understandible hes not going to be like that straight away. Hopefully will get more chances to grow into it. Anderson seems to have the personalilty to do it straight away and therefore I think he stands out more. Id love Wharton to be a regular, but thought we looked better in midfield when Anderson came on for the last 15. Showed with the goals.

We were never getting anything out of this. The squad isn't good enough to cope with the players missing today. The weird team selection hasn't helped. -

Hard game this. They've won 4 on the spin and have a few players in the side and manager who will want to prove a point back at Ewood. Weve just lost our GK,CB and CM as well. This has a slip up written all over it. Id take a draw at the moment and move on. -
Due to buying players for the sake of it, rather than seemingly having a plan. Now they have lost their playing style identity from an organised high press to a bunch of individuals. Chelsea were like that 3 or 4 years ago when they hoovered up about 40 players but never seemed to have any actual plan. They didnt need Isaak after getting Ektike. Should have got a fast pressing winger to replace Diaz and another CB.

From their chicken mansion in India to the self appointed self serving club execs to the manager to the wank cheap players its an utter shambles. Will anyone at the club or india care...not at all. -

If we had anyone better it would be an easy desicion, but Gueye can barely kick a ball and Ohashi scores about 1 in 10 at the moment. -

Just cant see where any goals are coming from. I don't think the team as a whole are that far off, we pushed Coventry closer than a lot of teams have. We just cant score, which then causes us to get nervous at the back. There's a lot of pressure on the midfield and defence knowing 1 goal conceded is likely to loose us the game. We may as well persist with Gudjohnssen if he was a marquee striker signing. The other options are equally as shite. Toth Miller Mclouglin Wharton Albiousi Hedges Tronstadt TGH Moreshita Gudjohnssen Ohashi -
Guessing that's a 5-3-2 formation. Blow to loose Cantwell. Can't see anyone else creating a chance.

A couple of years ago I thought Bellingham was unbelievable. Since he went to madrid though, when ive seen him for england he seems to me to have developed a massive Ego. His performance for England has dropped from an all action all rounder to someone who only moves when they have the ball. I get the impression hes a difficult character to have around and the squad dont particularly get on with him.

I'm surprised a foreign manager criticizing the home fans hasn't been made more of in the media. Thought it was perfect for our media to jump in on. However, after the Southgate bore fest its quite refreshing having someone with an opinion in charge. He must be the only manager ever to take a national side to two finals whilst still boring us all to tears.
