Thank god we somehow managed to flog Gallagher. Tough call upfront, think we play better as a team with Gueye upfront, but cant really drop Yuki after two goals. Not sure how to fit them both in. Maybe Dolan out wide, Yuki in the centre with Hedges dropping to the bench.

Just seen the highlights. Them two finished from Yuki. Still love the little dink on his debut v Derby. Very cute in front of goal.

It seems Gueye has much better hold up and link play but Osashi has a better eye for goal and finish. wonder if they can both start together

I did don't think I wrote anything on this board about the game at the weekend actually.

JRC has always been physically below par. Hes always been slow, and when he was playing with more intensity he would get injured every 5 or 6 games. Unfortunately I dont think his body will ever allow him to be a top championship player. This season, his ability on the ball seems to have declined also. After watching the game yesterday, I'm pretty sure the management team weren't that fussed about the game. Loads of subs at 1-0 up, and JE didnt look to be going mad on the sidelines. Didn't think there were many positives really, Duru got some plaudits but to me didn't look anything other than steady away. Not particularly quick or attacking but did ok. The centre mid pair were miles off it. Huge drop off after Sondre and Trav.

Need to keep the good start going. The small squad which doesnt like getting much improvement now will start struggling after a few injuries over winter and xmas. The more points now the better. These are the games we must win. Would love to see Gueye get off the mark in the league. Think he could go on a roll if he gets a couple, likewise may end up struggling if he doesnt get one for a few games. 2-0 Gueye and Dolan.

I'm amazed that no one else other than Ipswich are interested in him. Top scorer in the championship and league cup and 3 goals already this season. Mental to me no other mid table prem sides are sniffing around. Given some of the money they spend £10m is pretty low risk for them. The player sales of the last year should 100% have funded a promotion winning side but we all know we'll get nothing.

What is Weimanns best position? Sky sports listed him as a midfielder, Rovers said he was a striker. No 10? Cant imagine him having much pace at 32. Never really seen him play. Dont think getting a few older heads in the door is a bad thing. The squad was completely void of leadership last season. New GK and some pace out wide must be the priority now. Were slow accross the board.

That fee for Gallager who is shite or injured 95% of the time is good business for a normal club to re-invest.....we are far from a normal club. The squad as it stands is a shocker. Needs a lot more incomings to survive the season.

If we sell Szmodic and use the funds soley "to cover running costs" I think im done until this lot clear off. Nearly £30m of player sales and nothing incoming. Odds on certs for relegation which almost seems to be intentional. Not sure after 30 years I can muster any more energy to follow us under the current set up. Shame.

To be honest Im still not sure how we got to the final. Apart from one half against the dutch we were terrible to watch and rode our luck many times. Spain were miles better. However, you still have to congratulate them on reaching a final...but youre not going to win playing that poorly over a tournament. Think this goes down as another missed opportunity and a lot could have been better. Great squad, but no fit left back, blindly sticking with an injured looking Kane, not using players like Gordon, Eze, Bowen at all when were desperate for some pace on the counter attack too defensive mindset to name a few. Apart from his ridiculously late subs, my main issues with Soutgate are 1. why so cautious when all your best players are high pressing attackers and 2. What is the style of play? Is it possession, is it counter attack? We dont seem to have any plan really. Spain on paper are no better but look like a well oiled machine with a set play style. We on the otherhand slowly pass it around until someone produces some individual skill or we loose it. Why does Saka look so exiting for Aresnel but mr play it safe for england? It can only be Southgate. I think were long overdue a change. Not a bad sign off I guess.

Much better performance than any other game this tournament. First half apart from their one long range strike, we were all over them. The only downside was that we didnt come in at half time 2 or 3-1 up. The second half was tight as the dutch packed the midfield. I personally think Southgate should be brave and drop Kane for the final. Hes definately carrying some sort of injury. Hes completely immobile and innefecitve bar penalties. You dont score 40+ goals in the bundesliga moving as little as he is at the moment. Hes not even holding it up well. Given spain will have a lot of the ball and well have to counter attack more that suits Watkins far more than Kane. I doubt hell do this though.

Spain are a million miles ahead of us this tournament in terms of having a plan, working as a team and moving the ball qucikly and effectively. This falls on the hopeless manager we have rather than the actual players in my opinion. Luckiest manager of the last 20 years with the draws hes had in recent tournaments.

He's fucking useless is southgste. Massive squad 75 mins and no subs. Gets out thought evey game. Absolute liability. Doesn't deserve any of the accolades he's had. Pretty much think it's all been luck.

I reckon if they replaced him for the next game we'd immediately play a lot better.

This is getting weird. Even the most shite manager in world football can see its not working. Why does he never make subs. Its bizarre like somethings going on behind the scenes.

This is horrendous. Southgate has to be the worst manager at the tournament. How to do you set a team up to play so slow and dull. It's almost an achievement.
